UPDATE - The host suffered a "Catastrophic Hardware Failure" (*specifics not shared) on 01/13 and the "latest available" backup for the website and database were restored. At this point they have been unable to recover any later versions of the database.
We are going to give them another 72hrs to pull off a miracle and find something later than 05/21 before we fully move forward with normal forum operations. Maybe we'll luck out, but to be perfectly honest, it's not looking good.
It is still recommended that new members wait to register for the time being, as any new accounts created before our final decision on a path forward is made, may not exist once this is taken care of. This is also true for new topics, posts, status updates, profile & account changes, etc.

Hello I'm sorry for my lack of how to use this forum I'm still trying to figure it out.but my question is that I have a 95 Nissan Pathfinder XE four-wheel drive.all I need is the transmission.i was wondering if my tcase would bolt up to any other re4ro1a transmission that is compatible.any help is appreciated.thanks
Hey everyone, was hoping to get some good links to info about doing a conversion from throttle body to multipoint on my '87 pathfinder. I guess I should start by asking if it's worth the trouble for better gas mileage/upgradability in the future? Or is just a straight swap to a vg30e or vg33 the better choice? I'm no stranger to working on cars, but I dont exactly have the time/skill/shop to swap an entire engine. But I'd be happy to tear apart a top end to change headers or manifolds if it's worth the effort.
So I have a 1990 Nissan Pathfinder and the motor is knocking horribly after 352 thousand miles. I heard alot about a VG33 swap to make moar power but I'm unsure as what to swap over. I know everything would connect up and I know the cams from the 30 need to go in the 33 for moar lift and moar power. What else do I need to swap over? I do not wanna get it rebuilt or anything as long as the thing runs. I dont got that money. In regards to the engine swap, What do I need to unbolt from the engine/disconnect. Its a manual 4x4. The list is this so far Fuel return and feed line Witing harness Sensors 13 bolts on transmission Drain and disconnect radiator AC I'm getting rid of Engine mounts Exhaust headers Anything else? Or should I go with another 3.0 and turbo it after everything is complete. Im honestly unsure of what to do. I want to keep my Pathy running for as long as possible.
