Very sadly getting rid of the R50 before winter. Looking at WD22 Xterra's, but the interior feels so cheap and crappy by comparison...

Basically it's got lots of rust. Not nearly as bad as some people's rigs, but enough that it would cost a small fortune to fix, and even then I can tell there's plenty more coming. Or do you mean why am I considering a WD22?

Nope you answered it. Have you considered another R50 so you can just swap mods over? maybe a rust-free west coast model. As for the WD22, I understand getting the REAL NexGen Pathy :P :D

Just wanted to take a moment to thank everyone on this forum for all the help that has been provided to myself and others, as of today I've finally figured out the fix to my ABS light which has been on for almost 10 years now. The Pathy has never looked/functioned this good!

Camp shifts and daily driver shenanigans have kept me away from the pathfinder for a couple months now. Fingers crossed I can finish the last little bit of work she needs in a month or so and finally drive her...

The Pathy gave me an early birthday present!! Finally got all the leaks figured out underneath her and only got to enjoy that for 3 or 4 weeks. Looks like one of my cv joints is starting to leak, not bad, but definitely need to address it soon. Yay!!! *suicide*

Ah, that sucks! There's always something. Oh well, could be a lot worse than just a CV!

True. I hope nothing worse goes on her anytime soon tho, now I've done the rear end, the tranny, and the top end of the engine. She's becoming quite the money pit at the moment now that she's rolling 320K lol

Hopefully going to have my strut towers all welded up within the next month or so! I can't wait...just want it done already. Then I need to figure out what to do about rust on the rest of the underside; I don't particularly look forward to the idea of doing it myself in the driveway.

Can I get a site admin or moderator to contact me to work on editing rights for a thread? Just spent 20 mins typing a full edit and when I went to post, it said "YOU DONT HAVE PERMISSION" and dumped the entire post. </annoyed>

The server move is stalled due to time restrictions (in my personal life.) But either way, a server change will not alter the edit timeframe, that is restricted due to serious abuse in the past. :(

So i have a 2003 r50 Pathy and I was wondering if I were to purchase a hitch for the back that bolts on, how much rear clearance will I be losing?

The one I have is tubular and tucks back up behind the bumper for the most part, only losing clearance at the very middle. Of course it's a solid piece, so unless you're only rock crawling, I wouldn't worry about dragging it a bit. It'll protect the bumper anyway.
