  1. the stock studs are plenty long enough for warn hubs - no need to remove to put aftermarket ones in. Plus this makes the job quick and easy!
  2. What!! Then what is the point of warn hubs on a nissan equipped with automatic hubs
  3. What are the 90-05 automatic hubs? And how are they diferent from locked drive flanges? Thanks! (planning on doing warn hubs on a 95)
  4. Just got back from the Mojave desert & sequoia natl forest... happy to announce i got 17 mpg!!! (My previous best was 15 mpg) also did 600 miles and no 4x4 light blinking!! I highly recommend warn hubs to any R50 owner!!!
  5. and also, warn instructions say tighten all stud and bolts to 18-25 ft lb can this be right???
  6. to fleurys, the transfer case pump is driven by the rear driveshaft - not the front. People have been running these hubs with AT14x transfer case for years in australia with no ill effect http://pcoa.org.au/forum/viewtopic.php?p=3951&highlight=#3951 MY question is, how come these instructions are so simple, but the guys on PCOA talk about removing a snap ring as well as a few washers not mentioned here?
  7. Thanks, Xplorx!!! Do you think the 5000's on AC are extended length aswell?
  8. OME doesnt make a heavy duty for the rear. The strongest is medium. 4x4parts.com sells a much stiffer rear spring as part of their 2" lift and the correct part numbers are listed on http://ruggedrocksoffroad.com/nissan-pathfinder-suspension-c-38_593.html Rocky-road has all wrong part numbers on their site. Stick with rugged rocks.
  9. i think welding would be the best
  10. But which shocks will allow more flex / articulation than stock?? 4x4parts.com found some ranchos that "work" on the R50 but they are not designed for the R50. What im wondering, is are the lengths extended for the lift? Or do they simply sell the same shock for lowered/stock/lifted R50's?? I can't tell cause those sneaky people at 4x4parts hide the part numbers (i hate that!!)
  11. ABout the price - well i guess it isn't the replacement for the AT2 like i assumed.... but a very nice lookin tire!
  12. Well new general grabbers are out, the first thing i thought was "wow they look good" (well, other than the red lettering) then i saw the prices... man my size (265 75 16) used to be $120 now with the new style its $210 !!! MORE THAN BFG!!! What are they, crazy??? Your opinions?
  13. hmm i have stock length KYB on old man emu springs and they havent blown yet... maybe i dont need a longer rear shock?
  14. AC ( www.4x4parts.com ) sells Rancho rear shocks for stock height, as well as a set that says its intended for use with lift... Do you guys know if these lift shocks have longer extended length than stock?? Also, your opinions on 5000 vs 9000 ?
  15. love the signature pic !!

  16. rumor has it that OME struts are made by Monroe (not bad) and painted yellow I had some black monroes for just a weekend (shop ordered KYB's, disassembled my blown struts, and parts guy delivered monroes at 5pm on friday, then turned off his phone) and they felt fine. But i went back on Monday and got switched out for the KYB's. factory shocks are KYB so i figure it's the best??
  17. how many horsepower is the pathfinder, though?
  18. DamnInfinQX4, where did you get those?? and theres no way those are OME coils... you gotta be running spacers, right??
  19. well the lifted 4door i posted is an automatic so that eliminates that.... dang i liked the lifted one too... but i refuse to get another auto!! Thanks for all your input guys... looks like i have a real tough choice to make!!
  20. dayumm... the primered one is a 1990 2dr MPFI !! but he did all this ricer crap to it (roller paint job) and wont tell me why
  21. i feel like a WD21 could use the procomps more than the Q !
  22. ps do they all have 3.0's or do the newer ones (94, 95) have 3.3?
  23. oops i meant 3.0 also, i want a 5 speed (its the autos that get smoked, right)? and yeah im keeping the QX4, im just sick of wheeling it and having to drive it to work with camping gear in it the next day. I might even put the Q's Pro-comp wheels on the WD21 and vice versa.... $1600 of wheels on a $1800 rig would be cool, no?? Thanks
