  1. It is a lemon. Blown exhaust manifold gaskets. Overdue for timing belt.
  2. This will be my third one in 14 years Needed for: Alaska Budget: $3500 max (prefer $2000 to $2500) Maintenance: Prefer to have timing belt already done. Prefer to not have exhaust mani bolt problems. Don't feel comfy with more than 175,000 miles Not rusted out. Must haves: 5-speed manual 4x4 Like to have: 2 door already lifted Location- I am in the Portland, Oregon metro area. I am shopping this area and suburbs, will look in Salem, Eugene. I would travel to the Seattle area for a great rig\great deal. Where I am shopping: Craigslist.org Autotrader.com Cars.com Point me out to any good buys you all come across! Also give me your opinion on some of the rigs I post in this thread! It's up to you all to keep me in a Nissan!! Thanks! ZP
  3. Was there some disagreement between Jim and the admin here?
  4. Wow. I've been away from the Pathy community since I sold my rig in February. I had L&P's stage three kit. It was a great product and shipped fast. Nonetheless, I returned to their website to see where they were with S\C kit just for sh*ts & gig*l*s and noticed that it had disappeared. What's the latest? Phil's last post was in June... ZP
  5. Why was that link removed? ZP
  6. Who makes Calmini's shocks? Are they Ranchos? Monroe's?
  7. What ever happened to L&P's Supercharger system that was to be released in '05 or so?
  8. Oliver- No, the hood is not a requirement. My original hood was looking pretty shabby with some deep scratches and dents. Instead of putting the vented hood, I opeted for the newer style. Z
  9. Hey thanks. It was a relatively easy and cheap mod. The hood was a later D21 (1997) and it was only $95 from parts-train. The grille was $40 I think. The only problem is that the grille does not mate to the corner lights perfectly. I guess the D21's had some slight difference there. It does not really bother me though. It also allowed me to put in some IPF headlights and bulbs which made a huge difference. Z ps- the "nissan" hood emblem came from Courtesey Parts. It is a black chrome emblem they sell for the 350z.
  10. I got the IPF headlights from Quadratec. I had to convert to the D21 front end, but that was a bonus. The hood and headlight bracket camr from Partstrain.com. Hood: $95, Brakets: $18 each The headlights and bulbs came from Quadratech.com. IPF Rectangular headlights: $80 (pair) IPF "Fatboy-super-low-beam bulbs: $75 (pair) The difference is astonishing! The headlights are engineered very well, and throws the lights better than regular Rectangular housings. The bulbs are not rice-rocket blue...but the light is a little whiter than normal halogens. The high beam is really bright, but the low-beam is just amazing. The best thing about the bulbs is that they're not high-wattage...won't attract the cops, piss other drivers off, and won't fry a stock wiring harness. The bulbs are 60w I think. I would do it again Z_Pilot
  11. I had Schneider Cams regrind my cams. She runs like a champ, but the computer does not like it, hence the check engine light. Z
  12. Just fun FYI- All aircraft tires are filled with Nitrogen because of heat build up. Z_Pilot
  13. It's my Pathy's 100,000 mile birthday! Some friends and I just happened to plan a day-trip to south-point, the most southern point of the USA on the Big Island of Hawaii. By chance luck, she turned 100k only 4 miles shy of the actual point: Yup, I made a big deal of it, at the exact moment of 100,000 miles, all hell broke broke loose...complete with honking the horn, pulling over, and taking pictures We celebrated her birthday by letting her do what she likes most: And, of course, she had to pose for some special birthday pictures: To finish the day, we had refreshments here: Now all I have to do is hit the most Eastern (Maine?), Western (AK) & Northern (AK) bars in the country -alcohol- :secret: Am I a dork or what ....Share your Pathfinder's 10,000 - 50,000 - 100,000 - 200,000 birthday stories......

Quick update one L&P's kit. Lee just got married and got a new (primary) job. The VG30I kit is very close to being released. The VG30E kit should come next year. I am not an inside man, this is just what Lee told me in an email. I don't have any more info than that. Z
