I agree, just like me. Maybe it would be more visible in NPORA Announcements section. BTW, Paypal'd US$10.
  3. Is that an UFO ? No, it's a WD21!
  4. I just want to know how to take the window lift off, I have a pair waiting to replace the old ones, but when I turn the nut on the window the other flat side turns also and there's no point I can hold it. Does that flat trim piece on the outside of the window pop off?
  5. Bitch... I have a decal with it's name, but my wife didn't let me put it on the Pathy... mainly if she eventually drives it...
  6. Did you seal that draining hole on the bottom of the airbox?
  7. Anything is helpful, I'm gonna send them the links and/or photos tonight, so they can choose one or more if they want. I'm not sure if they will use the images, but maybe they do.
  8. Hi all, An offroad magazine around here (Brazil) will is preparing an article about the Pathfinder, mainly the WD21, and they asked me to help with some info. I thought it would be nice to send them some images from other Pathfinders, mainly those rare in Brazil like: - 2 door WD21 ( 88? someone else?) - SAS'ed WD21 But I think it should be nice to have an authorization to use the image. Just a "you can use this photo" would be fine. They also have a site (Planeta Off-Road). Tkx!
  9. It's not R$13k, I've already done a quick convertion... R$ 32000 to US$ 13000. Not so bad, WD21 prices are from US$ 7k to US$ 10k. The price of a new Pathy here is in US$, also... US$ 70000. I realy would like to buy it, but it would be a pitty, maybe a shame, to go wheeling with that rarity. I thought about contacting a car museum from a local university, but I've heard that the university is broken and that the cars are blocked by the law.
  10. I guess it has been parked in a protected room. Maybe $4500 in US, but here in Brazil a 1993 in normal conditions worths about $8000, and a new one costs $70000. The guy answared me, he asks about $13000.
  11. How much would you pay for a 1993 Pasthfinder XE-V6, with only 20 miles - it's not 20k, it's realy only 20 miles? She has been waiting for 15 years, parked on Santos port, Brazil, due to problems with importation. Someone bought it in a auction from Brazilian ministry of finance, and is wiling to sell it. Wish I have money now to buy such a rarity..
  12. Yeh, they're grippy... they're re-tread, I plan to use the Pathy mainly for offroading, and I've got some reviews about them that said they last almost the same as a new one... well, I don't mind if they will last only 20k miles, I certainly won't run more than 5k miles a year with the Pathy... Anyway, in case I begin using it onroad more frequently, maybe I can buy a second set of tires One of them was hard to balance, it took 1lb or more. Tires in Brazil are expensive, and for trucks are deadly expensive, before buying these I've searched and a set of BF 33" costs about US$350. My dream is the Swampers, but they're hard to find here because of import laws related to tires, the only quotation I got was US$ 800 for an Irok - each one, and about 100 days to wait for them They're rubbing on the very front of the fender flare, not on the plastic, but on the metal. I guess I can bend it a little with a hammer to stop the rubbing.
  13. I bought these... since I'll be using my truck 90% offroad Ost Oligator
  14. I did a 3"BL and ended with 31x10.5 (they're truly a 32"). I already had a 1"SL, but I'm waiting for custom fab coils to be with a 3"SL (or 3.5"). For now, I will have to bend a bit of the front fenders 'cause the tires sometimes are rubbing.
  15. I've just put 31" in my Pathy and it's rubbing a lot when I flex, even with my recent 3"BL+1"SL... I don't know if I'll wait for the new 3" SL coils I bought or trim the front fenders a bit (if it is rubbing the fender).
  16. Yeah, post it please! I searched and found a pic of Nismojunky's Pathy at October 2008 TOTM
  17. One of issues on changing the rims is that the law in Brazil does not allow the tires to go out of the fenders. In Pathfinder's case, the fender flares. And if I change to a wider rim it will probaby be out of the fender flares. Moving to custom flares would be a problem, I'll depend on the cop's humour ... because fender flares just are allowed if they are stock... Indeed, I'm not allowed to change the tire stock diameter... luckily they have no idea which is the stock diameter of most trucks, even more the imported ones... Damn laws...
  18. Little or none rub neither in the frame nor in the body? Maybe I can go for a 33"
  19. I'm finishing a 3"BL and a 3"SL, and now it's time to buy new tires 'cause my 255/75R15 will look funny. And they have 40k miles already. I'm keeping the stock Leggos for now (new cool rims would cost about $600 or more) and wondering if any of you have fit 11.5" wide tires on Leggos and how bad is the rubbing, assuming I will go offroad with the truck. Unfortunatelly, we don't have 33"x10.5 around here. So I'm thinking about 32"x11.5.
