I just bought a 95 Nissan pathy. Its great, i love it. Im a big ford fan but ill tell you what the pathfinders are something else. Ive been amazed of the stuff it can go through. and climbing hills is unbelievable. but i will say that i do have a lot of problems with it. everytime i go off road i seem to break something.

  1. im not selling it..im still making payments on it. so i told them to come repo it..
  2. i would if i wasnt financing it. but i pay 300 hundred a month and its just sitting there
  3. well guys theres still no compression, after timing was set.. therefor, valves, pistons got screwed up. and gonna cost to much money for me to fix.. so im letting her go...man this sucks
  4. it was on there all the way..it was just a huge pit.. i mean it was about 3 feet deep and about 50 yards long..it was fun as hell..but it does a lot f damage..lets just say it was deep enough that i had it coming into my doors. that was a mess to pick up
  5. it turned to a point. there was one spot that the mud stopped it. and it was off by 2 notches . i guess thats what i get for going through a mud bog pit. it messes up your truck if it aint made for it. thats for sure.. LESSON LEARNED!! im gonna stick to the trails and small river crossings...lol..lets just hope that none of the valves are messed up
  6. and i just also discovered my timeing is off some how..dont know if it pop off a notch when i was mudding or what..so hopefully thats causing the no compression
  7. There aint no compression. this is just great...i might just have to let her go...
  8. lol..you gots a very good point...
  9. as in the other topic about the alarm i posted, could that alarm be cutting off my fuel flow...but my fuel pump is workin but is stoppin my injectors??
  10. i see...im thinking about boarding it over 40 and either putting a snorkel or cooler air intake, i think it needs more power
  11. i repaced the water pump, cam shaft and crank shaft seals and yes the timing belt too. about 1 month ago and it ran after that. and at that time the starter was going out. so a month later i replaced starter and battery. had alterntor check and its good. i have spark. and fuel pump is working, i took the fuel pump line off right where it hits the fuel injectors, cranked it over and fuel sprayed everywhere. . then i cranked it for like, lets say 5 to 7 sec , checked spark plug and was dry. now is it stopping my fuel or are my injectors out? is the million dollar question!!
  12. so i still cant figure out why my 95 wont start...now i do have that stupid alarm in it. you know that alarm that sits under the drivers seat. Now my question is, at all possiablity will that keep my truck from starting cause i did replace the starter, battery, water pump, crank shaft and cam shaft seals, i didnt know if it reset it by replacing all that stuff or what...but what do yall think??
