  2. I had to modift one bracket on each side for it to mount flush. You'll know what I mean when you see the curvature of frame/mount
  3. I still have the stock nerf bars. The women still have trouble getting into Shelly LOL! I kept mine because it's mostly a Family vehicle and the kids need a way to get in

This is all that you should have left from your body lift: Matterhorn remember that you have an 87 pathy and statikuz has a 93--two different body styles. edit: hey statikuz, did you have those big washers like I did under the second body mount starting from the front of the Pathfinder? Mine did and I took those out since I didn't think I need them, as you can see.
  9. How you extended your shaft is fine. There was plenty of slack in splines on both ends of the shaft. As long as the joints have enough "bite" on the splines, you're ok. In other words, You're okay! Make sure you tighten them bolts down when you're done.
  10. one each side you should be using 4 silver bolts with their nuts and washers and i believe a thick black bolt for the very rear mount. The very rear mounts just screws into the body. I'll have to go down to my garage and double check for you...... oh wait i have a picture of it in my cardomain site of the leftover crap. let me pull it up real quick.

  13. Check for exhaust manifold leaks, does it burn oil, leak fluid, brakes any good, shift smooth, transfer case works properly, when was timing belt changed, and frame and body rust. all i can think of at the moment.
  14. looden the nuts holding the joints on the top and bottom joints of the steering shaft and spray the crap out of them with WD-40 or the like. also, slide the rubber grommet? in the middle of the steering shaft and spray some into the slip joint there. When lifting the body, lift SLOWLY!

  16. I thought you already got your body lift installed bro? Anyhow, There's really no need to to unclipp the brake lines that are on the firewall. Theyre are held together by white clips. My clips were brittle and didn't give when I was lifting the body so they cracked. I need to get around and get new ones.
  17. That's what I'm using 12.50 wide on a 8 wide wheel. The lil extra bulge in side is just a little extra insurance from bending the rim of the wheel

  20. I'm just curious as to how are you running your coax line to the inside? I mounted my ghetto fabbed mount on my rear tire carrier mount and drilled a hole in my right taillight to run my coax.
  21. I just got my Lock Right installed. I took it for a test spin and you can hear the ratchet-y sound when turning but it's not loud or something bothersome. With the sway-bar still attached, it has a little sway to it and again not really noticeable. R&R took something about 4 hours since I was doing everything with handtools and using all the elbow grease I could muster up. It helps to have an impact wrench to break the bolts holding the bearing caps and carrier. Also something that will hold the third member still. I was using a rag and holding the 3rd member between my legs breaking those bolts loose. Pulling the axles out: This is what took most of my time since I didn't pull it out far enough. With the body lift and suspension lift, I didn't have enough slack to get the axles far enough with the brake lines still attached. I had to disconnect the parking brakes in order to pull it out far enough. I didn't like how the lines were bent up when I reinstalled the axles. Removal of the sway bar is recommended for easy access to the nuts on the 3rd member as well as removal of the third member. I didn't remove the ring. It is not necessary to remove it. Just remove the inner ring of bolts to open the carrier. The outer ring of bolts hold the ring onto the carrier. I really thought this was a simple install. I didn't even use the the instruction manual that came with the locker. Could've been easier if I had an impact wrench of some sort.
  22. I am 2/3rds of the way done. All I need to do is install the 3rd member back onto the axle. I kept the thrust block and didn't remove it. It's just bouncin around in the carrier. Is it suppose to be like that?
  23. the nut is on the cable end and is not welded to the u bracket. Get a plier to hold down the u bracket and use the wrench to tighten the nut.
  24. I just found out I had a bent wheel today. Will probably end up selling my wheels and get me a new set similar.
