  1. That sucks, Ill give you a ride in it when I win it haha
  2. Sweet. I could drive the car for awhile, but then I would need to sell it because I couldn't afford to service it!
  3. Paracord projects are fun, I did a bracelet awhile ago and decided to make my dog a matching collar. Started with just a plain cobra weave, once you get to the end you go back over the weave with another cobra, to make it thicker.
  4. Well, you could install them yourself and get your wheels fairly straight by taking measurements. However you can only get it so close. At a shop they can get it on a rack and have it almost dead on with their computers.
  5. Yea about that, you need to come back....
  6. You can get a set from Rocky Road outfitters, Or like I and a few others pick up a set of toyota Trail Gear sliders From Steevo and mount them. They all mount via the frame rail under the car. I think the RRO ones also mount to the pinch seam with a few bolts. To mount eh TG ones I just dinged my pinch seam in 3 spots and welded the kit together. There may be others out there but those are the only two I know of personally
  7. So, I don't have it, but I do want it. However, I dont feel like tearing it out of a junker either. I noticed that the cruise control store sells a kit for the first Gen X. Upon doing a search it looks like the first gen and the R50 use the same looking upper intake manifold. Anyone think it could be possible to install the X kit into the R50? Would be much easier then trying to add the factory one as its electronic. Only issue I see might be the stalk install on the column. (haven't looked to see if the space is there or not) http://www.thecruisecontrolstore.com/ez-catalog/X380183/0010/nisfron9804
  8. My 300 has one but not the R50. I actually like not having it. I can stretch out in the corner of the footwell on long trips
  9. I hear ya, Chernobyl has always intrigued me. I try to watch all the documents on it I can. Just watched one on the Chernobyl wolves
  10. Town in Argentina, pretty wicked http://photoblog.nbcnews.com/_news/2013/05/10/18169883-ghost-town-comes-up-for-air-after-25-years-under-water?lite
  11. Thats a good one, I always loved the Cops get owned video they did. Some of their reactions were pricless
  12. Yes, the R50s dont have auto hubs, but drive flanges. This causes our CVs to spin all the time causing excessive drag and unneeded wear and tear. With these you can actually feel the difference in rolling resistance when you coast
  13. Dang, thats one way to fill out the wheel wells Looks good
  14. Personally I would remove them, they may take some soft hits but in the end they will end up causing more damage to the rocker then if they weren't there.
  15. Does the NICO link work for anyone? I reformatted and well forgot to save the FSM,..
  16. Courtesy is run by some good folk, I have never had a problem with them. You can call them and they will talk to you about pretty much anything. I was looking for a part but didn't know the name so I sent them a picture and he looked through all his boxes until they found one. If I go Nissan, I usually go through them.
  17. must of been 99.5, my 99 doesn't have a chipped key
  18. Built a Stinger for my front license place to slide into my front receiver. Cops don't like the whole "My camera cant see your plate when you speed or run a red light" Got out of two those tickets already, I can guarantee the third is gonna hurt
  19. The Bearing noise if we are talking when its depressed, isn't much to worry about, Mine did it, I was told by a Nissan Tech(Who knows if this is true) is its because of the material they used. Anyway its just a noise issue not really a "problem" Depending on how the clutch was treated it will last quite awhile being stock. I fried my stock one at around 125k. Mainly because I overheated it during a wheeling trip. Otherwise it had abit of life left in it. does it slip when you get on it? If the T-belt hasn't been done then what Slart said, it can cost a lot if you aren't mechanically inclined. Even so, blow it up a bit to knock the price down, as your time is worth something. Clutch from Nissan is around $400, Cheaper elsewhere but I think If I do it again Im going to use a Nissan clutch. My third party one isn't the best. It can be changed out with jackstands and some muscle (How I did mine)
  20. 5+1=15? Son of a gun, I thought it was 51, I've been mislead all these years!! Congrats on getting it fixed. One of the few jobs that you get paid for!
  21. The whistle mine puts off is very loud and high pitched. Sometimes the radio can't even drown it out!
  22. What is this white stuff I see all over in here....
