  1. I'm willing to help anyone do or help complete projects. What else do you do when the winter hits but build your hobby truck up for the spring and summer?
  2. Well I'm no god nor a expert in Nissan Paths but I am a truck fan to the limit of my budget. LOL I can help ya identify your problems if you want or even work with ya on your projects if so want. I am located in Southern NJ via Wrightstown / Browns Mills.
  3. Every Body Lift kit I have found say they are not for auto. Anyone know why? or can I use them anyway.
  4. For some reason the front of my my wifes path sits down like it has no shocks. I cant figure out why but I did know that she has bottomed out hard one day while driving leading me to belive she broke something. I thought she may have blew out the shocks so I purchased new shocks but it didnt help. I later found while changing the shocks this weekend that the lower compression bar was broken on one side so I changed that but it stills sags or sits very low above the front tires. I am not really sure what to do at this point.
  5. I have a Pickup truck No carpet Yeah My Temp guage works fine its just me 2 fuel gauges. I dont know why my cluster has 2 but they both arent working anymore Thanks for the reply fellas
  6. I recently changed my fuel tank on my D21 to a plastic one then the metal one it came with. It was a direct fit and everything went well. The only problem is that now my fuel has been going crazy and now stop working. Its stuck or staying on empty even when full tank. I thought it was the strainer but that was replaced as well. I dont know what on the fuel gauge sending unit has failed. I am not looking forward to dropping the tank again but the risk of running out of gas is killing me. Every 200 miles I just refill the tank but I rather be able to perfectly watch my mileage to see if its running well. I also thought if it was bad that I could take the fuel pressure or sending unit out of my parts trucks but its a 89 Path 2dr which I think might be different since the tank is in a different spot and looks different.
  7. here are the pictures of all my trucks. The black one is just a parts truck but runs fine except for the missing rear glass and grill. The green one is my wife's truck now since I got the D21 but the green one is starting to have trans problem with it going in reverse, so that black one's trans will be placed in the green one sooner or later. My d21 has fresh mud and I put one of the caps on since it will snow again and thats my flatbed parked in the background
  8. The truck has one serious rust spot over the front fender flare and a little rusty looking front bumper. The under side of the truck is black cause the former owner had it undercoated so its brown from dirt and now with new mud that I put on it but thats it. My biggest concern was the 4x4 action since alot of people like to leave it in 4x4 for and go over 50. I also stabbed the hell out of the frame to make sure no rust. Now my other Nissan Pathfinder which is a 95 has some serious rust in the frame over the rear wheels but I really dont know what to do with her. I have given the rust treatments to stop or slow down the rust progression but it seems as if its failing. Its a super clean ,super quiet truck and I dont want to sell it but I might have to junk it. I will take pictures when the snow stops here
  9. I am new to Nissan Forums. This is my second Nissan Truck but my first D21 pickup. I truly enjoy this truck and picked it up for 600 bucks with new motor and trans from a former Paint Contractor. His business was going down so he wanted to sell his oldest truck. It has paint stains all around the truck which I am trying to remove. Thanks to the weather I have stopped on the inside but have removed what I could on the outside. He has also given me 2 Bed Caps ( 1 Silver and 1 black Leer Caps). Its a 1987 King Cab 4x4 D21 (V6) 53k miles on motor and 200k on frame. Everything works and had been converted to R134a AC which will be removed since it will never need it. The only thing that confuses me is that its a 3 speed trans which I never knew existed or I was BS'ed
