  1. I often visit partsouq.com for oem or replacement parts. Just put in your chassis# or vin# and it pulls up EVERYTHING from your truck. You should be able to find your parts there. Sometimes bushings are also not sold separately but as one with the bracket. Sent from my SM-G973U1 using Tapatalk
  2. I had this once too. Turned out to be the front shaft (from transfer case to front differential). It's a 2-piece "telescopic" shaft and it had play at the coupling. If arm bushings are shot you will hear and feel metal "clunks" every time you go over a hole or even speed bumps. Sent from my SM-G973U1 using Tapatalk
  3. Just wanted to put this out there.... Rockauto.com has been my go-to shop for many of my parts in the past but lately I've been getting bad experiences with their parts AND service. I bought ball joints which were kinda on sale (wholesale closeout as they call it sometimes) and these held only for aprox 4 trips on rough terrain. They're a model which has a grease nipple at the back and on one of the ball joints it just came loose. Lucky the ball joint itself didn't come off. Well after I contacted support they just told me their policy states I should send the old one in and they will (or might) replace it for the same model. First of all, I DON'T want the same model, but wanted a better (more expensive) one. Second, shipping it back would cost me more than actually BUYING the same one off their website. So there was back and forth emails between me and their support (I was wondering if there's only one person handling support cuz the same person has been replying to my support mails for years) and he stayed with his "policy".   6. +1 on AC springs. I had them on a previous build (heavy duty set all around) which gave the truck somewhat 3" of lift supposedly. I measured before and after but of course the springs and shocks were still new and maybe still needed to "settle". When I had that set my shocks always bottomed out (or topped out [emoji2369]) when going a bit aggresive over (speed)bumps and my boots were tearing within a few months. Also at some point my front drive shaft developed some play and really vibrated the truck violently at certain speeds and the shocks compress. Removed and sold the springs and went back to stock ride hight (put in a set of A1 Cardones) and never had a torn boot since. That was at least 6y ago.   8. Exactly what I did. I still have both OEM axles stored and can swap them anytime I need to. The axles were stll good, I just replaced both when one of them got it's boot torn. And since I have manual lockers now the current axles will stay in the same condition even longer. Sent from my SM-G973U1 using Tapatalk
  9. They weren't expensive so I just replaced both. Didn't want to go swap out just one and after a while have to do the other too. If 1 axle is bad, best to change both. But if the boot has been torn recently, chances are your axle might still be good so you could just change the boot and not the whole axle. I'm no expert on this but I guess it's an option.   13. +1 It's a lot easier to just remove the springs, remove the bump stops and then put in the air bags. Even if you manage to loosen the bump stops, you won't be able to get it out from inside the springs. Sent from my SM-G973U1 using Tapatalk

  24. Yes I am. I did have heavier coils installed before on my front struts but they would really violently extend to max everytime I went over a speed bump. That's why I tried spacer lift this time. I'm not really offroading, just driving a lot in rough terrain, bad roads, and I just like the lifted look....and when I need 4wd I will make sure not to get the fronts extended all the way.Do you have a rough idea which coils would provide 2.5" lift in front? Cuz I already have my 2.5" coils in rear.... And the ride does become a lot firmer when putting heavier duty coils right Sent from my SM-G973U1 using Tapatalk
