  1. I wanna see this beast upclose in person sometime.

  2. I having problems turning the big 35's with the stock power steering pressure relief valve, dry steering is impossible almost. Does anyone know where I can get a higher pressure spring for the relief or can I get some shims?
  3. I am running a 1995 Pathfinder LE with 35" tires and an A/T Transmission, I don't have a transmission cooler and I have been towing multiple vehicles behind it and I have never had any transmission problems but I do not drive with Overdrive on and I change the transmission fluid every 6 months regardless. She also has 312,000 kms on it.
  4. I have not personally done it but I think it will work as long as the pump came with a single v-belt pulley you should be able to mount in on the vg30e motor. Worst case scenario you may have to get a bracket from the 88 motor. I am just speculating here. As for the pressure and flow increase, If I were to do this on my truck I would get a rebuild kit for the steering box and change all the power steering line o-rings and compression rings (COPPER) after modifying the steering pump. I think I may try this mod also since I am having power assist problems with these 35 Inch tires.
  5. I'm having problems running 35's. I have a heim steering upgrade that I built. Its nice and tight but I keep eating up idler arms. I replaced the idle arm shaft with a 3/4" grade 9 bolt and I broke the base plate for the idler. Should I build the base plate with 1/2 inch plate steel and then weld the 3/4 bolt to the plate and put gusits to reinforce it? The picture with the idler arm on the vehicle is a stock idler. The last idler, I bent the shaft and cracked the plastic bushings. So I put a 3/4 bolt instead with brass bushings inside the stock idler and then I cracked the base plate like the first picture. This idler broke when I was pulling a car through a foot of snow. www.rmvoc.ca/gallery/index.html
  6. Here are some photos of the pathfinder frame reconstruction I did. We didn't lift the body off the frame either. Just cut the entire frame out and rebuilt from there. Hey and check out my youtube page @ http://www.youtube.com/profile?user=geckoscout of my pathie offroading and stuff. See my new video pathfinder rescues jeep. BEFORE AFTER
  7. Does anyone know if there is a software you can get to reprogram your ecu from a laptop, for example change air fuel ratio and things like that? I'm planning to install a m90 supecharger in my vg30e motor but I have to find a way to modify the fuel manangement system. Either remove it and install a complete standalone if available or get the ecu reprogrammed or modify the parameters myself with software. Any help would be nice.
  8. Here's a link for a video of my pathie going through a serious mud hole. This was her maiden voyage after installing the 35" tires. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_bmEvATpVa8
  9. I had to crant the torsion bars a little and cut about 2" inches of the fenders front and back. I am just waiting for the 1.5 inch lifted rear coils right now. The only time the tires rub is when I am on a 45 degree decline, the front tires bounce sometimes and hit the firewall part of the fender well. Here are some pictures. If you want more up close pictures just let me know. Also do you think it would be possible to swap in a vg33e into it with that transmission?
  10. I want to do an upgrade on my engine so I can get more torque, since I am running 35's the motor performance is not bad but it needs more torque, I have an automatic transmission which I like. I want to do headers, venom 400 module, and cams. Do you think it would give me about 50 ft-lbs of torque at least or maybe more. Also what else can I do to get more torque. 5.142 gears?
