  1. Thanks Micah, I love the way your Pathy is looking in the pics you posted earlier in the thread. Just to confirm, you're on OME HD springs with no spacers in the front, and LR9447 in the rear also with no spacers. And you said you're on 32's right?
  2. Awesome to hear you guys are still pushing forwards! Super excited to see the end results.
  3. Does anyone by chance have a before/after shot of OME MD Rears springs and 9447? wondering how much of a real world difference it is. I'd like to swap out my OME with the 9447 for the higher spring rate but a little extra lift wouldn't hurt either
  4. Hey guys! After reading through this thread I have a couple questions, hoping someone could clear them up for me. What was the final verdict for which model number got the least amount of lift from the 9446/9447? And for those of you who installed extended length Bilsteins along with the 9446/9447, did you also install extended brake lines?

  6. Some great info here, thanks Raingoat! From what I've read so far it seems time and time again that Northstar comes out on top. Unfortunately for my purposes, I'm having trouble justifying almost $380 for one here in Canada. Especially for a starter battery. Hoping to work towards a dual battery setup in the near future. Would be interested in hearing any experiences with the "off brand" AGM options from Wal-Mart etc!
  7. I know most people in the past were running the Diehard series from Sears, but Sears is no longer (at least in Canada.) Other than the usual Optima fans, any other options out there that people have had success with? I'm interested in the Motomaster Ultra AGM from Canadian Tire, and the Everstart Battery Maxx AGM from Wal-Mart as they are supposedly made by reputable manufacturers and are priced decently. I'd also be curious to hear if anyone has been able to fit a larger than stock battery without serious modification to the tray etc. ?
  8. Love the look of this!! That would be an easy order for me whenever these become available
  9. Hey all, don't know if this has been posted on here yet. Thought it may interest some of you. A local Vancouver (BC) company that makes beautiful front and rear bumpers has just started selling a weld together front bumper kit for the R50. I've seen their work in person on a number of other vehicles and can vouch for their quality and excellent design. Here's a link: https://www.coastaloffroad.com/product-page/r50-nissan-pathfinder-high-clearance-front-bumper-kit Also side note, anybody know who's truck that is in the pics? It's a beaut!

  11. Hey all! Tried giving this a search but couldn’t come up with anything. Vehicle is a 2003 Chilkoot auto. A few months ago I had the ABS light come on. It’s been intermittently turning on and off since. Sometimes restarting the vehicle clears it sometimes it doesn’t. I took it to a shop a few weeks ago and they pulled codes 1 and 5, which according to their book doesn’t exist... They then took it for a drive around the lot with the scanner plugged in and said that all 4 wheel sensors were functioning normally. I continued to drive it for the following month and the light actually turned off for a number of weeks. A few days ago it came on again. Can’t seem to link it to any types of driving conditions etc. anybody have any experience with something like this? Maybe the ABS Controller? It’s also temporarily disabled the 4wd system in the past but that was solved by simply restarting the vehicle. Any thoughts/past experience would be really appreciated!
  12. I’ve been watching this thread from afar since I bought my 03 R50 last spring. Awesome progress and I’ve only become more and more interested in purchasing the end product(s) when you decide to make them available. I’m most interested in a light weight winch bumper at the moment but I really like the looks of that rear as well! Im liking the idea of a road trip down to Arizona next spring ?
  13. If you end up mounting them please report back with pics [emoji16] Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  14. Subbed as I’m also looking at this tire size. Currently running 245/75/16 BFG KO2 on stock rims and have just a tiny bit of space under the strut. Thinking I’ll probably get a set of 4” BS Pro Comp Steelies regardless (so I can run chains during the winter), but curious to know if they’d fit without. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  15. Good to know! I think I read somewhere that the front breather was already located pretty high up in the engine bay. Is that why you only did the rear?
  16. I too would be curious to hear others input on this, and specific breather kits that have worked well? Would also be interested to hear if anyone here has installed the R50 snorkel from 4x4 parts and what their experience with it has been. https://www.4x4parts.com/i-18980358-r50-pathfinder-snorkel.html
  17. If you came a across the part number that would be great! The series 51 are the wheels I’m looking at. Thanks for the info. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  18. Hey big fan of your truck! This thread has given me some valuable info. I might have missed it earlier in the thread but I was wondering if you had any issues with the 15" rims rubbing on your brake calipers. I've seen a few guys on here who have 15" wheels on their facelift R50's and it seems only some of them have rubbing issues. Do yours clear fine due to the backspacing?
  19. Also interested to hear people’s input on this as the RR ones are especially expensive if you live in Canada [emoji51] Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  20. Thanks for the quick reply! So far I am planning on only the springs. At what length do I need to start worrying about getting extended lines? I'm guessing the Bilsteins would probably require that? The extended ones I'm looking at are 5100 series part number #33-185552
  21. Sorry to grave dig this thread, but I figured better than starting a new one. I just ordered OME springs (MD rear/HD front). I will be keeping my stock struts up front as they were recently replaced. I want to upgrade my rear shocks to mono tube ones (either Gas-a-just or 5100, as per many recommendations on this forum). My question is, what benefits do I get from upgrading to a longer shock such as the 5100? Would I be fine staying with stock length and going for the Gas-a-just? I saw many threads that touched on this but none that would give me hard answers on the pros and cons of either. Thanks in advance!
  22. Hey guys! Picked up a 2003 SE/Chilkoot a couple weeks ago, have recently begun doing some work to it including building a full size sleeper platform. Will maybe start a little build thread in the next week. This forum has been a massive source of info for me, it would have taken months to gather info compared to the few days of research I spent lurking trough all of your guys posts. Cheers! PS. Just got my new tires on today
  23. 2003 SE Chilkoot stock suspension and rims - 245/75/R16 BF Goodrich KO2 So far no rub that I can tell (after driving around town for 30 mins). I'm sure once I air down I'll get some at full lock. Surprisingly good clearance at the strut. Stoked!
