I've been getting a whining noise from the engine while starting and driving. I've been told that I should replace the serpentine belt. Any suggestions on how to replace it. And is this noise really coming from the worn out belt? Belt costs 60 bucks at he dealership.

Thank you all for your replies. Last night I checked the radiator reservoir container and it was empty (engine was cool), not to mention that the radiator was in need of antifreeze fluid. I topped the radiator with antifreeze liquid and filled the reservoir container to adequate level. This morning I had perfect heating in the cabin. It seems that folks at Nissan are not checking the fluids level when I take my Pathy for service. I guess I will have to be more careful with those people. Peace!

Help please! Pathfinder 2008 4WD SE. I'm having problems with the heating in my car. Every time I put the heat on it just blows cold air either on AC or not. Sometimes it blows warm air when in low, but when I crank it all the way just clod air comes out. Thanx.

Hey I would recomend you to install clear bra on the hood rather than the bug protector. I don't know but the bug protector looks ugly, with the clear bra you just wash the bugs off the bra and that's it. I have installed clear bra on the hood,fenders,front bumper and mirrors and its invisible. Post some pics when you decide doing it.

It's time for me to do a first oil change to my new Pathy '07. Can somebody recomend me what king of oil I should use and if I should buy an original oil filter from the dealer.
