  1. Sweet Ride! Sorry I got you into this. At least you can tell your wife it was all my fault lol!
  2. I had Silent Armors before my TA/KO and they did great all around. It's up to you since you know what use you will make of them. I wouldn't pick mud tires unless I was only using my truck as a dedicated offroader. They wear too fast and are quite annoying on any paved roads.
  3. I had them custom made and welded on the truck by TubeWorXs locally.
  4. Just as a FYI, Duratracs are great tires but they're quite loud on the highway. I went for BFGoodrich T/A KO to keep the sound level down.
  5. You're more than welcome to join us on a trail run!
  6. I forgot the wheels... Got some KMC Enduro. 15X7 with a -6 offset. I went with 15's since I bought my tires in November, I didn't see the need to spend for another set. Perfect stance.
  7. WOW. It's been over a month since I updated this... Not much has happened. I broke the tailpipe off the muffler, took the ski racks off and installed a cargo box and got some sliders made. Oh, and I added Homelink garage door opener from a 2000. On with the pics.
  8. Are you running OEM CVs? I've had a few bad aftermarket CVs from Napa. I'm going to rebuild the OEM CVs with Rockford boots and hope it gets better.
  9. I'm having the same issue. I think Adamzan might be right. I'll take my front driveshaft out and drive it around to see if it fixes my issue.
  10. Link please. I might look into replacing my cv boots as well. Thank in advance.
  11. I think you adjust the stopper on the LSV to be barely touching the lever once the vehicle is loaded as you usually drive it. Wheels have o be on the ground and someone in the driver seat. Not sure how this interacts with the lift but the adjustment should be the same. I'll try mine later today and report on it.

  13. Get them on so we can go out and play in the snow this weekend!!
  14. Check the service manual for the adjustment procedure. I need to adjust mine as well, since the lift it feels like the front is doing all the work.
  15. Thanks again Xplor, really appreciate it. Now to buy another battery and figure out my stance setup...new wheels or spacer :dunno:
  16. Battery died on after filling up with gas on Tuesday. So I picked up a spiral battery with 750cca. Upon installing it I saw how much room there was. So I'm gonna pick up another one and look into a dual battery kit. Any home made setups or decent kits that don't cost $400? I also picked up some more Rigid LED Dually. So I made some brackets with aluminum pieces. Replaced the stock fog lights with a pair of Dually on each side. The outer ones are the original amber ones I bought a few weeks back, the inner ones are white spot beams. I'm really impressed with how bright these are. I also wired the amber ones to the OEM fog light switch on the stalk. Enjoy!
  17. Got more Rigid LED lights on the way...Can't have enough lighting right?
  18. Look into OME springs. The Medium duty rear is rated for 440lbs over stock. Hopefully that covers it for you.
  19. I agree with Xplor, the cost is definitely not worth it for me. I'll just replace pads and rotors, and do a fluid flush.
  20. I will be looking at replacing my front pads and rotors soon. Has anyone upgraded to 2000 and up front brakes? I wonder if it's worth having the bigger brakes and if it's a simple upgrade. Any preferences in pads and rotors? Ceramic VS Metal pads, Slotted VS plain rotors? Worth the cost?
  21. Is there anything preventing the exo cage from twisting in a rollover and hitting the body?
  22. I would imagine shipping would kill the deal for me as well... I really want it and have cash for it but I'm thinking it'll be at least $400 for shipping.
  23. Awesome Dude! We're heading out for an easy trail run on Sunday. I can PM you my number so you can text or call me. I'm also stoked to know there's another R50 in Calgary to come out with us and show the 4Runners the way it's done lol. And yes, I will have to get a NPORA sticker in the near distant future lol.
  24. More toys!! Installed Onboard Air Installed MORE STICKERS! lol If anyone needs more info on either the lights or the compressor installation, I would be happy to help.
  25. Interesting setup. I would guess you need the pedal assembly, clutch master cylinder, clutch lines and so on. Shouldn't be any harder than a regular swap from Auto to Manual. If you had a junk yard or a donor truck I would imagine it would make thinks 100 times easier.
