Im pretty sure the rails alont the truck will hold up just not the cross beams of course.if you look at my pic i built a steel roof rack from the very front of the truck to the very end.it weights roughly about 90lbs, i have gotten on it while bolted up there and walked around it no proble, i weight in at 255 lbs,it currently just holds my spare and light bar and high lift arb canopy on the way.i am trying to load more pic of my set up but time is of the essence.

i hav etried uploading pictures but its says there to large.help on resizing them?there also on my phone if that makes a difference

Thanks .so which way should I go.i was thinking the smittybyilt xj because of cost I get them for $180 through work.1000$ is way out of my budget for a bumper.i could fab up some lower protection

hey there everyone so i read online somewhere that the jeep xj bumpers will fit the r50. i know its about an inch narrower per side,i was wondering if anyone here has done this and what all was involved with the mounting points.i can get a built stinger winch bumper for a great price but the mount brackets are welded to the bumper so its all one piece.do the xj holes line up to the r50? or do i cut and re drill? thank you everyone.

Any bay area locals wanna meet up and hang could use a spotter and another person to wheel and explore with. I saw a lifted Kathy a while ago on 237 on my way to work.
