alright so I got word back about the snorkels from mudstuck, they are a total of $325.00 shipped to the states. not to shabby. mine is on the way, ETA 4 weeks out

I am in the process of ordering one into the states $145.00 shipped. I am waiting to hear back from them to confirm that is correct. I will give the news as soon as I get word about my order.

anyone every use there services or business with them? they make snorkels for the r50 for a reasonable price.

Where was the wheeling part in the video?

I believe the hose goes up into the filler tube as a fuel evap so to minimize the swelling in the tank during expansion, I may be wrong

Bummer. I would try a wrecking yard if any are near to you. I know out here in cali there is a wrecker that specializes on the r50 there about 3hrs north of me they always post stuff. Let me know I can contact them if you like and check.

OK IT RUNS TO THE LR OUTTER BUT INSIDE THE UNIBODY RAIL THERE SHOULD BE A DIAPHRAM THAT CLIPS ON TO THE CANISTER THAT HOLDS IN PLACE. ITS PART NUMBER 1453N HERES A PICTURE LINK.

Sorry and it took me about 45 minutes preside including brake rotor and pad replacement, all races removed and installed with a 2x2 squre tubing . and hammer to easy

I just did mine bearins races and seals I bought a dana 44 socket on amazon for $11. for torqueing. It was my first time replacing bearings 200k ive never done it before. It was a breeze. if memory serves correct youll need a 13mm socket. snap ring pliers. the socket for torqueing bearings. grease. and all replacement parts.philips screw driver. I don't remember caliper bracket socket size. but itll be a good idea to replace rotors and pads while your taking all that apart.

Hello every one I got a new set of front wheel bearings races and seals. about how long and how difficult is this job to complete? are there special tools I need?

anyone have experience with the heavy load OME lift kit? how much lift does it give you? and how harsh is the ride? got a tube winch bumper up from. full length roof rack made from steel . working on rear bumper with dual swing outs to hold a 265/75r16 duratrac and 4jerry cans and a 70' hi lift, and home made sliders and skid plate. also have another 265/75r16 duratrac on my roof rack. plan on carrying both spare in areas I travel frequently . thank you.

So what all needs to be removed to get to the egr?

I have not even removed it, I am wondering how hard it would be ro remove and replace I got the new EGR AND SENSOR from a buddy at infinit for $125.00 for both. so I rather replace them with new then clean out.

Does anyone know how difficult it is to replace the egr and egr sensor on 99qx4 r50 4wd? I did replace the knock sensor and know I am throwing code for egr. any help would be appreciated.

Hello everyone does anyone know what warn hub kit I nned for my 1999.5 qx4? I cannot seem to find a kit that fits or is recommended for my vehicle. very frustrating.and I have the dial 4wd model. 2wd/4wd/4wd high/ 4wd low locked center diff, will it be ok to convert with this set-up? I never use auto, terrain im usually in is 4low locked.

I fixed it yesterday on my lunch thanks for the reply's though, It was the LED bulbs they are not double philiment. I just went back to stock bulb. I now know my qx does not like external LEDS but all my interior lighting is converted.

I have not checked for a cut wire. I did convert to led bulbs and my new rr brake bulb is not working im thinking maybe its because of the leds. I'm not sure what else it could be Shorting out somewhere. Im not good with electrical also I noticed a ground wire from the body to the exhaust is broken I was wondering maybe that could be the problem.,

If those are the parts you seek above. I have the complete set from my qx you could have them for free just pay freight. let me know help clear out my garage.

hello everyone, So when I press the brakes on my 1999.5 qx4 I hear a click then all my cluster and interior light on dash light up and when I let off they go off. unless the lights are on then I don't hear or have any issues. does anyone know what may be causing this annoying problem?

ok guys educate me on snorkels. I got a pre runner style bumper made that required to rid of my air box crap under splash guard. so my air box is exposed under the fender, I am afraid of sucking in water or snow as I go deep into snow filled areas. I would like to know what snorkels work for the r50 platform. and what other model Nissan ones may fit with slight mod. my biggest concern is looks no toilet piping please. I would like to find one that follows the same line as the windshield. but I don't wanna pay 500$ for the safari one.i figure someone here has modded one to fit nicely on there truck. thanks .
