1. A few shots from the past few weeks in the Northeast GA and Western NC mountains! ">http:// ">http://http://s1356.photobucket.com/user/Geffellz18/media/IMG_3245_zpsaejka0ti.jpg.html'>
2. Never tried to change just the boot, but changing out the entire cv axle is super easy and cheap. Paid about $100 for the pair new and took about 10-15 minutes to change each side.
3. Thanks! I actually made it. Purchased some black aluminum grille mesh off of eBay. Cut out the center of the grille housing, leaving a little extra on top to mount the fig lights to. Took the chrome grille frame off(sanded & painted it black), cut the mesh to size and re-installed. The frame fits back with some pressure and care holding the mesh in place. About $10 in material and some time is all it took!
4. Cool Man.....Looks like your right in your way. Nice post. Keep posting pics of your progress. Love seeing these R50's!
5. Cool pathy. Enjoyed the video too! Thanks for sharing.
6. If your running those stock wheels, they are 17x8, 20mm offset. The back spacing will be 5.29". Love those wheels too. Wouldn't of gotten aftermarket wheels if mine had those on it when I bought it
7. I was hoping to keep the mud flaps too, but didn't think of that as an option and now they are in some landfill somewhere! Puddle, Thanks! I appreciate it. The tires are 275/55/20's. Their specs state they are just over 32" tall and 10.5" wide
8. Looks cool. Very nice improvision. I'd use the openings at the front that you state you want to cover to run wiring for a light bar or something!
9. I agree. It's all about the marketing. I have a yeti, but I didn't buy it. Got it as a Birthday gift It works as advertised though and is quite durable. Have been very pleased with it I also have Rtic and Engel coolers. All different styles and sizes for different purposes(Engel dry box/Rtic soft side). They all are similar quality IMO. Hard to believe there's such a large market for this type of cooler to have so many brands popping up or starting to manufacturer over the last few years and seem to be doing very well.
10. Nice looking cooler and price looks good too. Never heard of them. May also check out Rtic coolers too.
11. The required surgery I performed to get full clearance and final overall height of the Pathy after lift and wheels/tires: ">http:// ">http:// ">http://http://s1356.photobucket.com/user/Geffellz18/media/rearfinalheight_zpsyxbiera7.jpg.html'>
12. Sure thing. Here you go. Hopefully these show you what your looking for. I didn't think the difference was excessive enough to add the spacers to the rear myself. When you start to flex, you want the tires to go into the wheel well which should not be an issue with the current stance. Add the spacers, well then that's a different story. 13. Thanks mjo! The wheels have a 5" backspacing. They are 20"x9", 0 offset. However the front is technically 3.5" backspacing due to the 1.5" spacers. I didn't add the spacers on the rear. Took some trimming to get full clearance, but nothing major. 31" tires on the same wheels will definitely clear the struts and shouldn't need any trimming. Thanks LittleFR Your completely right about the manual hubs. The truck does drive completely different.
14. Here are some daytime shots: ">http:// ">http:// ">http:// ">http:// ">http://http://s1356.photobucket.com/user/Geffellz18/media/reardriverday_zpsysgdnnna.jpg.html'>
15. Got the wheels and Manual hubs installed this evening. I really like the way it all came together. Nice Aggressive stance. Will have to do some trimming on the front to allow for full turning radius. Nothing too major though. The wheels and tires actually did fit without the need for spacers in the front. I had about 1/4" clear between the tire and strut housing. I installed the spacers only on the front anyways since I believe that if the tires were brand new spacers would be needed and plus, I bought them already so may as well use them! Manual hubs were super simple to install and did not require for the original bolts to be changed out as I have read other brands needed. I got AVM hubs, made in Brazil, primarily to keep the color coordination intact, plus the reviews. I will say, they are much more heavy duty than I was thinking. All steel/aluminum construction. No plastic anywhere! Very pleased with them initially. As always thanks for looking. Will post up some daytime pics in the next few days. May take it up to the Mountains this weekend for some nice offroad shots! 16. X2. Would love to know the process myself! Looking forward to the write-up
17. Nah, not really. Have put just 2k miles on her since March. I'll most likely need to replace within a year due the remaining tread left on the tires I got since they are used. Will have wheels in hand tomorrow!!! Will have tires mounted and balanced this week most likely and we'll see if they fit without spacers. Went ahead and ordered 1.5" spacers anyways and locking hubs. Should get them next week too so I'll have some updated pics to share with new wheels and manual hubs installed by next weekend! Next then will be the custom brush guard w/winch and rear bumper guard I'll have built. That won't be until early next year though.
