For a shroud, try to find a aluminum cookie sheet pan as close to the size of the radiator as possible. Some creativity, a few tools and plenty of zip ties and I bet you could fashion a functional fan shroud.

Does this same programming method work for the R50 Pathfinders? I've tried the ignition/window switch tap dance and that doesn't work to reprogram the factory remotes.

My 2001 SE 5 speed with manual hubs averages 19 mpg and I've gotten as high as 22 mpg bombing across New Mexico with a bit of a tailwind.

The time has finally arrived to start the mods on my 2001 Pathfinder SE. I've been renovating our kitchen but that's wrapping up for now and time and funds are allowing for some suspension mods. I'm planning on using the SF Creations 2.5-2 lift, new Moog springs for the rear and new rear shocks. The struts are still in great shape as are the springs. I've already installed a set of spare locking hubs I had for my Frontier, they've already made a noticeable difference in the fuel economy in addition to reduced steering effort. I'm still somewhat undecided on the shocks, I've been looking at F250 rear shocks, there seems to be a better selection available with that route. I'd be very appreciative of any advice that could be provided. I've had the Pathfinder for several months now and I absolutely love the truck! The only other mods I've done to it so far is a USB charging port on the dashboard and I made a new manual shift knob leather cover, the original one was shredded. I'm also planning on installing a catch can and cold air intake along with some skid plates before summer.

Very glad to hear that you are back in business, I went looking for your site a few weeks ago and was disappointed when it was gone. I'll be ordering a set of spacers soon and I'm eager to see what you come up with in the future.

That's cool to read that it was found! About 10 years ago, I had my built up 1986 4Runner stolen from outside my apartment in Denver. Unfortunately, I never saw it again. I even knew who stole it but had no proof and the police where not interested.

Hello all, I go by Gunsmith on here because that's what I do. I live in Conifer, CO and I've been a Nissan owner off and on since about 1998 when I bought a 1995 Pathfinder SE. I had that until around 2003. I bought another Nissan in 2008, a 2000 Frontier XE which I still have. Even before these, my mom had a 1988 Pulsar NX SE that got me into a lot of trouble. My newest Pathfinder is a 2001 SE 3.5 with a manual transmission. I've had it about a month and am still getting to know it, but so far I'm very happy. I haven't done much to it yet aside from a full service, including changing all fluids, and a new set of Hankook Dynapro ATM tires in 245/75R-16. I really like these tires and the size is perfect. I also swapped out the hub drive flanges for a spare set of Nissan locking hubs for my Frontier, so far they are perfect. Next will be suspension, which I am still unsure of which route to go. I will be fabricating a set of skid plates and I am also planning a chuck box for the rear which will include a pull out stove and cooler. I look forward to getting to know the members here and learning from them what I can. I also hope that I can prove to be useful to have around.
