  1. Hey guys. Currently ingot the spare tire that bolts to rear driver side of cab. I need the space to get detailing equipment in and want to umbolt. My question is was it common to have the rear hatch racks for spares? Need to find one and convert as don't want to not have a spare on hand Got a 91 2 Dr 3l sport xe Thanks Brett Sent from my SGH-I337M using Tapatalk
  2. Well at least i dont feel as bad about my fuel consumption hearing that. I thiught i should be getting 6-650 a fill.
  3. I got same.one as well...im in beaumont ab. Whats your gas mileage like? Im lucky to get 4-450 a fill with knobby 31's Sent from my SGH-I747M using Tapatalk
  4. Appreciate setting that straight. I figured it might be the compressor ground. I just elected taped it up and cleaned upconnection...when i was poking around just touching it snapped the plastic retaining tab due to weathering of plastic The maf is new and has been replaced twice in last 3Ok by previous owner in the records. I took all connectors around tb and maf apart and cleaned and sprayed with elect contact cleaner. Also took apart intake and sprayed seafoam on tb and some into manifold...hoping that it might clean the iac. I think after tearing it down and cleaning iac i was good for three weeks last year. But cat was clogged filling iac with backed up with carbon etc. So now with cat being banged out to breath...maybe this spray got in somewhere. seems to be running ok since done...but i cant replicate the stall issue....so well see. Ill keep this thread updated if it does or doesn't return. Sent from my SGH-I747M using Tapatalk
  5. Also can anyone tell me what this connector does that my hand is on? Sent from my SGH-I747M using Tapatalk
  6. Ok gents im back to try and get this solved once and for all. I have done searching and reading thru threads. I know what you are all thinking....wasnt he having this issue almost a yr ago? Well i never fixed it haha. I had a work truck until i fell to a layoff here in ab a week ago. So to say the least i need this truck to get me from a to b without almost getting rear ended every time she stalls out. I replaced all cracked and leaking vacuum lines that i saw and found when i cleaned the iac tb and maf. Replaced fuel filter. Put a new, bigger, battery in. So last week i tore the exhaust off because i heard it hissing....like it was clogged....it was. I ended up just beating the cat out hollow. You couldn't see through it and barely any air was getting thru. I thought maybe this back up was causing the rich smell and major fuel consumption (300km/tank). It immediately ran better and has ran better. But once again a cpl days later the idle surging stalling recovered. Now when i rev it up in neutral.to 6k it almost always regulates the idle. Almost as if im blowing something clean/out. Like i mentioned before when cleaned the iac i tested the power to plunger and worked fine....although it was pretty dirty. Also after hollowing cat i pulled plugs checked gaps and cleaned any carbon build up off and have a quick wire brush to em. I plan on cleaning the maf again. This week Ps those manuals won't work nor dl on my phone Also installed new lower ball joints...idler arm...new blower fan motor retrofitted. Replaced front wheel bearings. I know parts arent relative but She is almost there...once the surging is solved she will be solid! Sent from my SGH-I747M using Tapatalk
  7. Hey gents thanks for the advice. For whatever reason i didn't get updates on this thread sent to me. Surprisingly under the rear seat behind the driver (above where the cat is) has rusted right thru and there is a similar rust spot just not right thru on pass side. I noticed when searching for why my rear Windows are fogging. The open hole is letting in moisture and ruining the seal in the back. For what i paid for rig ill let it slide til she dies Agreed on block for winter let flow for summer haha. Once again thanks for every once first hand solutions Sent from my SGH-I747M using Tapatalk
  8. . Hey guys on on my 91 pathfinder sport xe 2dr 5 spd. I got a vent on both doors interior ...they aren't hooked up to an actual vent apart of system. The issue im having is there is always a slight draft coming in i feel thru jeans in colder temps and when i open a window etc....it propels the flow faster. Im in alberta where it gets minus 40 Celsius and need to find a fix. I may just take off the door panel and dictate fron inside. Ideas? Advice? Any on run into this? Thanks in advance Sent from my SGH-I747M using Tapatalk
  9. Thanks for the point in the right direction. Rf600 - like I said in my post I tore it down and took the iac off.....cleaned it and tested it. When powered the plunger fluctuates. It was good for three weeks or so after cleaning iac and throttle body. Then started again. Also only happens once warmed up. Will try to search. Sent from my SGH-I337M using Tapatalk
  10. Sorry guys on app said there was an error and it wasn't submitted. Apologies for 4 threads Sent from my SGH-I337M using Tapatalk
  11. Hey guys. I'm new here but from looking through Pathfinder forums this one seems to be the best Sport xe 2 Dr manual Issue is once warmed up idle surges and it dies out eventually. When given gas she is good. For instance taking a corner in 3rd......press clutch in and idle will drop to where it dies and I lose power steering etc. If I catch in time and give gas.....it'll come back to life. Seems when happens, if I put in neutral and Rev to 6k (when parked) it's seems to settle for a bit. If it dies and I start it without giving gas, instant dies again. Batt and oil light come up when it dies. Vehicle is one owner before me and in last 6k kms has had plugs cap and maf sensor water pump fuel filter and timing belt changed. I've cleaned the iac and tested it to see it fluctuates when powered. After cleaning Iac and throttle body it seemed to work OK for 2-3 weeks. So I am curious what else I can try because I'm at wits end with the issue. If any more info needed just ask. Thanks crew Sent from my SGH-I337M using Tapatalk
