    Rear Shocks

NOTE!!!!!! I just received the RS5046 shocks from Rancho and they DO NOT FIT. Rancho tech support told me they had the correct ends....although that is true they are backwards so the shocks would have to be installed upside down to fit......
  2. Thank you! Bolts are ordered......just about finished the transformation and soon to be ready for the trails.
  3. I installed a Fleury 2.5" lift and after an alignment I have a camber issue on the front end. I have been told that there are no camber adjustments available on my Pathy. Hoping someone can point me in the right direction. Thx.

    Rear Shocks

I just finished installing my Fleury spacer lift 2.5" up front and 2" rear. Now I am finding that the available travel on my rear shocks is only a couple of inches. It is time to change them out anyway an would like some help/suggestions with what to install? thx.
  5. Hey Hawairish Thank you for the link...I didn't turn that one up in my search. The options are a tiny bit shorter than what I wanted but I think I can make it work. Cheers!
  6. I am trying to put on a set of wheels that are about 1/2" thicker than the stock wheels so I need to find stud bolts for the front and back that are 1/2" longer. Anyone else run into this or have an idea where I can order them? Thanks!
  7. I am still going ahead with Fleury but still need to know if I need to swithch out the stock struts and shocks with the 3" lift. If I so, I would rather just do a 2" and keep the existing suspension. Any help would be much appreciated.....Steve is waiting for my order
  8. I posted this in the R50 area but realize I should have posted it here so sorry for the double post... I think I have decided on doing a Fleury spacer lift. The previous owner replaced the struts and shocks just before I bought the truck and presently it sits perfectly level. Since the LE fender trim eats away a couple of inches, I am leaning towards a 2" front spacer lift (2.5" of actual lift) and a 3" spacer for the rear to get as much extra space to hopefully accommodate 31" tires. Questions: Will the extra .5" on the back be noticeable Will the 2.5" up front cause major CV problems (they are also new) - If so would the addition of locking hubs alleviate this. Do I need to change either the front struts or rear shocks with the lift. Thank you!

  10. The Pathy just came back from the garage from its initial inspection and it looks like I will need a few parts.Sway bar links, bushings, valve gasket, etc. These are all things I can do myself and want to order the parts online. What is my best resource for parts to Canada. I am looking for high quality parts but don't want to pay a fortune in shipping/duty. Thanks
  11. After reading your post, it got me thinking that I may not have the 1999.5. I have the 3.3L engine. The truck does look like the facelift version though. Did Nissan make the 1999.5 with a facelift and the 3.3L? It was my understandign that the 3.5L was on later production models and not my year. What is my best resource to determine exactly what version I have?
  12. I just purchased a 1999.5 Pathfinder LE as my "adventure" truck. For the past few years I have beaten up my everyday truck, a 2011 Ram 1500 and decided to buy the Pathfinder for my hunting, fishing and trips to the cabin, now that the Ram is back to showroom condition. I don't offroad anywhere near as hard as I once did so that is why I bought the Pathfinder. It will be a very nice truck to drive around town with the family but also be perfect for my adventures. I would have loved to have bought another 2005+ Pathfinder (had one a few years back) but couldn't justify the $$ for my weekender. I really loved the 3.5L engine! I know lifting this truck (looking for a 2" lift) is going to be a challenge but I am hopeful to find the help here to do it. If I don't find the info reading through the forum, I'll post a few questions. Cheers, Ray
