  3. Well, they arrived! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  4. Nevermind....I got the answer. I just ordered the 2inch Spacers from http://trail-gear-canada.ca So excited! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  5. I too am going to order some 2 inch Spacers. I am running Toyota rims on my pathfinder, does it matter if they are hub centric or rim centric? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  6. What size are you gonna go with.....I like the look of those 2” Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  7. And you’re running stock tire size? Did you have to do any fender trimming? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  8. Anyone using wheel Spacers with stock sized wheels/tires on their R50? If so, what size (1”,1.5”,2”)? Or wheels with equivalent offset? Would you post photos? I would like to see what different stances look like. Cheers! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  9. Relocating a knock sensor is not that hard at all. There are several YouTube videos showing you how to do it. Just get a good quality knock sensor with a pig-tail harness. I cheaper out the first time I tried it.....the pigtail harness had a bad ground connection. The sensor was okay, took me a long while to figure out the problem though. 10. I get about 15 L/100km..... google says that’s about 15.6 mpg Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  11. Well, it seemed like a good deal until I opened the radiator cap. The coolant was all milky and frothy...NOPE! He did however have a set of black Toyota rims for his truck. We tested them on mine, same bolt pattern, same size, they look fantastic! I bought them for $100. Not bad I say. Now I just need to think tires. I still have a lot of tread left on my All season M+S tires, after the winter we had last year though, I’m considering a good set of winter tires for now. 12. Keep in mind, it’s $3000 Canadian dollars It would be 186,000miles for about $2400 USD Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  13. I called the dealer. It’s a standard key with no chip. Is $2500-$3000 a good deal for a Frontier with 300000k? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  14. My friend has offered to sell me his 1999 Nissan Frontier for $3000, although I think I could talk him down to $2500 because he needs cash ASAP. The info I have so far: It has 300,000km, new distributor, plugs and wires. He recently put on Toyota rims and new tires. May need brakes soon. He’s lost the keys in though(long story), how much would it cost to get replacements or a new lock cylinder and keys from Nissan??? Is this a good deal? Thoughts? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  15. Where is the ticking noise coming from? Every so often i get a bad and consistent tick coming from my driver side under the vehicle. I’m thinking oil pump. Very curious if you’re experiencing the same? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  16. Good to know. There have been a few Pathfinders with 3.5L engines at the wreckers around me. I’ll factor that into my cost calculations. Anyone else ever done this swap before? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  17. Hey all! I have a 2000 R50 with a 3.3. I am at about 320,000km, running okay for the most part. I am trying to figure out and decide at what point do I stop putting money into repairs and save up money to buy a rebuilt engine for when the time comes. The question(s) is, would I stick with the 3.3, go find a 3.5, would a supercharged vg33ER from a Nissan pickup fit in a R50’sengine compartment? What other engine options and ideas are out there? I’m hoping to create a discussion here, find out what thoughts you have all had on the engine swap topic. Cheers! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  18. How big a job is the lower control arms on the front? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  19. So tighten it up with the vehicle is on the ground is what you're saying? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  20. Dude. Thanks! Can you elaborate on that last part about setting the arms to neutral? I'm not following. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  21. ***lower ball joints are worn, control arm bushings are too.....steering is sloppy as hell. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  22. Hey all! Okay so, last year about this time I replaced my front struts and springs (with OME), new CVs, brakes, rotors, bearings, Installed Warn manual hubs, bushings, tie rod ends, Fleury's Spacers......a few other things. BUT! Stupidly!! I stopped short and did not do the lower ball joints, lower control arms or bushings....most importantly I did not replace the steering rack. Note....I paid my friend, a mechanic to do the work last year. Not doing so again. I'm going to try to do this myself. I'm going to try to do the front and rear lower control arms as well as the steering rack. What am I getting myself into? What should I know that may not be obvious off the bat? Special tools? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  23. It's a 6 cyl engine. The plunger only extends when there is no vacuum.....so I'm assuming it's for startup. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  24. Not the fast idle cam. There is a plunger above the throttle by the EGR. See attached.... Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  25. I have a throttle opener on my pathfinder. Does any one know how to set it to open the throttle to the appropriate amount? How much should this opener open said throttle? I can't find it in the FSM.
