  1. My 2003 R50 3.5 is low on oil, and I've looked everywhere to find what the markings on the dipstick equate to between L and H. On my Mazda it's 1 liter, on other vehicles it can be half a liter. I can't find any info on this, does anyone know for sure off the top of their head?
  2. In a quest to find the TPMS self diagnostic wire, which is supposed to be by the OBD11 connector under the dash, I instead found this sitting there right beside the OBD11 connector. It has 4 wires with the mentioned colors, and is sitting there unplugged. I don't know what it is for? Secondly, my TPMS light just came on all by itself while driving yesterday and stays on solid with no warning beep. If I turn the truck off, then start it again, the light goes off normally, but will arbitrarily come back on at any point it feels like while driving. Again no warning beeps. Tire pressures are spot on 35 as tire dealer says to use. 1) So what is that connector? 2) Where is the connector to self diagnose the TPMS system using it's blink codes? 3) Any clue why the TPMS light comes on arbitrarily? Thank you R-50 masters.
  3. OK thank you Kingman, I am indeed talking about the oil cooler. I have located it as you say, and will order the two seals I need. Thanks Jyeager as well!
  4. Is my oil cooler on the side of the block or is it the type that the oil filter bolts on to? I've looked through the forum and googled this, but I'm still not sure, as it's hosing down here right now and I don't want to crawl under and remove the plastic panel till I'm ready to do this. Thanks.
  5. I youtubed how to reset the TPMS system on my Pathfinder as it came on when one of my tires dropped to 25psi, so I know the procedure. What I don't know is where the TPMS wire is located so I can ground it out and reset the system. Does anybody know where they've hidden it? Cheers, Courtney
  6. Just bought this two weeks ago, and I have the automatic HVAC AC system in my SE where you adjust the temp up and down and with buttons and it does the rest. I am trying to figure out how to just have fresh air come in through the vents instead of the AC coming on etc. Is there any way to do this? It seems all I can do is pick which vents I want the system to come out, defrost, body, feet, or a combo of them. What if I just want fresh air coming through the vents? I'm guessing I am going to have to open the windows for fresh air???
  7. You gotta love one owner vehicles. I was looking around in the glovebox and found a package with the original installation guide for the roofrack and inside was the allen key with a hollow center. It is just a 4mm hex wrench with hole in middle. The roof rack clip is just all plastic including the allen screw with security pin. You could just get some fine needle nose pliers and grab that pin and twist it off, then use a regular 4mm allen key. The bag this is in is Part No. Ha-1255-000-00 if that helps you. Hope that helps you Pav.
  8. Thanks Pav I"m going out to try it now. Aw crap, it's the same as you say. It looks like an allen key with a pin in the middle. Would that have come with the Pathfinder? I wonder if Nissan carries it.
  9. I suspect it is under this little clip I have pointed at in red, but I can't seem to get this clip off. I can pry up at the front of it, but it seems like it will break. Does it slide out or something as opposed to prying up? Would appreciate any help as the front crossbar is about 4" to far forward on the drivers side compared to the passenger side. Looks stupid.
  10. I'm hoping this link works for people. I bound it into a PDF file to view. It's from Nissan Canada. Other years are available there as well. Let me know if it works or not, as I put it on DropBox and it should be okay. Just ignore the offer to sign up for free. The file should still load. Hope that helps. https://www.dropbox.com/s/7ny0e2jxq99ym3v/2003%20Pathfinder%20Extended%20Mileage%20Maintenance%20Schedule.pdf?dl=0
  11. Here are a quick couple of shots of my 2003, today I go right through it and clean it all up. Looking forward to it!
  12. Okay Precise1, I am leaving in 15 minutes to have it transferred into my name and do the paperwork. When I get it home and give it a cleanup I will post the pics of it. I will check out the FSM and see if it goes past the 192K km limit.
  13. I looked around and couldn't really find an extended maintenance schedule for after the 192K mark for my 03 Canadian Pathfinder Automatic 4x4. Could someone please point me in the right direction, as I'm picking this up in a few hours and want to know what to work on. Do we just go back to a certain KM on the schedule and repeat? Thanks! Courtney
  14. Thanks for the welcome guys. I am picking it up in 2 hrs and am really excited to get it. Because it's over the 192,000km limit on the maintenance schedule, I will be looking for what should be done after that. Time for some research.
