  1. I'm interested to see more intimately how the front bumper fits into the body, as well as how it looks close up next to the wheel well. I'm thinking of doing something similar Sent from my HTC Desire 626s using Tapatalk
  2. I figured out what most of it was. My end links are fine but I had a ball joint loose and a bad wheel hub. I tightened the ball joint and replaced and repacked the hub. It's better now. Theres still a clunk from the front that I have discovered as coming from the steering junction box. I need to replace that baby. Sent from my HTC Desire 626s using Tapatalk
  3. Perfect. Sent from my HTC Desire 626s using Tapatalk
  4. Looks good. I like your brush guard Sent from my HTC Desire 626s using Tapatalk
  5. Are you simply shutting down for a bit to move abs then going to reopen with a new line, or are you done with pathfinders? Sent from my HTC Desire 626s using Tapatalk
  6. I actually have my truck setup to have rake intentionally and I think it looks really good. 2" in the front and about 3.5" in the back. Even fully loaded it sits flat Sent from my HTC Desire 626s using Tapatalk
  7. They're listed as 1.75 inches Sent from my HTC Desire 626s using Tapatalk
  8. I'm not sure how they compare to the ome springs but I can't help but wonder if the ome are more tolerable Sent from my HTC Desire 626s using Tapatalk
  9. I believe you should be able to buy some square 1/4" tubing and drill a few bolt holes and you'll have your subframe drop. The KRFabs subframe spacers are just that - square tubing. As long as you had the bolt patern drilled correctly I don't assume there would be an issue. As a caution with the AC Springs though, those things are insanely stiff. They look like they belong under a Dodge Ram 2500. I don't know if mine are just installed incorrectly or what, but they have caused the ride quality to be nothing shy of offensive.
  10. I would assume you would need to extend the driveline an inch or two and move the whole rear axle back. If you had tires that size I don't think you could clear the rear doors.
  11. The rentable spring compressors from the auto parts store were insufficient to compress the AC spring when I tried to install them, but do you think it would be enough to keep them compressed so when I jack the truck they would stay compressed? Sent from my HTC Desire 626s using Tapatalk
  12. I torqued them down thinking they might be loose. I just set my torque wrench high. I will back them down. Much of the noise and loose feeling was a bad wheel bearing. I replaced it and it's much better. Still need to adjust the spring perches though. They're such a pain to get in and out that I'm going to try to spin them while they're still under the truck. Not sure if that will work though. Sent from my HTC Desire 626s using Tapatalk
  13. Snapped a few shots of the strut. Does this look right? Top nut is good and tight, torqued to about 110ftlb. Sent from my HTC Desire 626s using Tapatalk
  14. I'm not sure what you mean by keyed. Can you elaborate? Sent from my HTC Desire 626s using Tapatalk
  15. My plan is to put jackstands under the front crossmember and wiggle the suspension components individually. The clunk is sometimes pretty loud and when I turn to the left I can feel the right wheel shimmy around. Feels totally unsafe Sent from my HTC Desire 626s using Tapatalk
  16. Ok I'll disconnect the sway bar and see if that helps. I'll keep you guys informed Sent from my HTC Desire 626s using Tapatalk
  17. Think I can just unhook it, or should I completely remove it? Looks like it would be a pain to remove completely.
  18. Control arm bushings look fine. Remove the sway bar? Don't I need that?
  19. I did not replace the mounts for the strut assembly, no. I assume that's the bearing you're referring to.
  20. You can hear a little bit of the clunk and pop on this video from yesterday https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=i9U-PE8WXmw&feature=youtu.be
  21. Hey guys, I've got a weird clunk in my front end ever since I did my lift and suspension install a few weeks ago and I can't seem to track down where the noise originates from. I installed AC Springs, new shocks, new ball joints, new drive axles, new swaybar end links. Everything seems to be tight. When I hit a bump or pothole or the suspension has to do its job, there's a clunk that reminds me of the sound a bad ball joint makes. It's on both sides sides of the truck, not just one side, and it's definitely coming from the suspension somewhere. Any ideas where I should be looking for this mystery sound? For those of you that installed AC or OME springs, did you have any quirky stuff happen afterward? Was your front suspension insanely stiff or did it make any weird popping or clunking sounds?
  22. Torqued down the strut tower bolts and cleaned out the trunk.
  23. I bought Monroe struts and shocks on rockauto and got a $75 rebate so the whole setup ended up being around $125. Just something to think about Sent from my HTC Desire 626s using Tapatalk
  24. Memorial Day camping and fun. Unfortunately nobody shot the video of me getting stuck. I had one of the rear wheels dangling off the ground and the other rear so pinched in the wheel well that it wouldn't move. It took me a 14 point turn to get out of the little gulch I was stuck in. Brief streambed crossing my friend took: https://youtu.be/AwjIrzIv17g
  25. Try a few washers to space out your shock from the spacer. And yes, the weathertech trim to fit are the only ones that xan be made to the same shape as the driver floor mat Sent from my LG-H815 using Tapatalk
