  1. I will also take this opportunity and will try to meet some of the awesome NPORA members if possible. It will be my pleasure. That will be epic
  2. Some very interesting views here I leave my car doors and windows open and sometimes even forget to close my house door at night and during the day, they are open anyways. Nothing goes missing or no one ever dares to take a peep or enter. Its rare to see people having an argument. Someone finds a lost wallet or a phone, it ends up in a police station or shop nearby cuz someone will come back looking for it. I feel safe and secure. Being a Pakistani born in an Arab country, I might be stereotyped with guns and stuff, but I have never ever held a gun or even seen one in real life apart from one time traveling where it was pointed at me Will be extra cautious and use extra common sense and avoid such places but for the most part, world is a beautiful place and its people are amazing. Will still trust in humanity. I am interested in anything and everything a place has to offer so nothing specific. Might get a chance to visit Comicon but I also wanna go to SEMA which is in October. I hope my visa comes through in time so I can actually prepare and start booking stuff. I get a 90% off for a to and fro flight to the USA which will save plenty of funds. If I had the visa already, I would have flown to USA, picked up the parts my self and back to Qatar while still saving a few extra dollars. You all know the story from my build thread lol Really appreciate your concerns though and thank you for the advice. Will try to be careful Regards, DJ
  3. US is 50 states country and each one is different. Its like traveling to 50 countries at the same time. Thank you so much for all the valuable suggestions you have shared so far. The list of places and things to do is increasing and so far its: New York Washington DC Chicago New Orleans Houston Miami San Francisco Los Angeles Las Vegas Arizona Georgia I will try to go through them and their surroundings but surely its a huge country and one cannot do justice if you just drive through them. Will go slowly and enjoy the places, its people and the yummiliciously delicious food. So I did some googling. A rental car (Kia Rio) is around 1500 for 29 days I think Gas (petrol as we call it in Qatar) is around 300$ Any other ideas n suggestions are more than welcome Regards, DJ
  4. I was planning around end of June or first week of July. Hope to catch 4th of July Love how people fall in love with their country. Respects <3 Its definitely on the list... Just checking out the awesome places Ouch, that must have been a horrible experience. Am so sorry to hear that. I hope and pray I dont have any breakdowns. Over here in Qatar, I drive comfortably on sand dunes knowing and having a peace of mind that someone is always around and willing to help and offer support. But still... what do I do if it stops in the middle of nowhere in USA? I dunno anyone lol Will trust in humanity and keep my hopes alive Baseball and American Football for sure. I never actually understood why its called Football, you guyz hold the ball and run lol. Would love to attend atleast one in person
  5. Hey all, I was wondering when is the best time to visit the USA? Will land in Chicago and eventually make my way to Los Angeles and fly out to Manila. 30-35 days long road trip. Places I would love to visit are: New York Washington DC Chicago New Orleans Miami Los Angeles Las Vegas Ohh and Mojave Whats the best and the cheapest possible way of traveling within the country? Will not be flying within the country. I wanna see your beautiful country and experience the local stuff. Camping and trekking too. When do you guyz go for offroading? Better to buy a cheapass car and do a road trip? what should be the budget for a vehicle? Can a foreigner own a car? Any ideas, suggestions and advice is really appreciated Regards, DJ
  6. Is that a water tank? More pix n details if possible plz. Looks amazing Warm regards from sunny Qatar, DJ

  8. Now that I have screwed up my dream lift and will have to postpone it. Yup, I am frustrated and almost broke as far as the lift is concerned but will still go ahead with the SFD now that I am too deep in a rabbit hole already. So... let me get this straight once again... bare with me I have 6" WJ lift springs for the rear, what will I need for the front? Can I use stock (new) springs for the front instead of buying OldManEmu or AC and then spending double their price for shipping to where I live? Any other alternative or compatibility without using lift spacers? When I fab the blocks, do I make them 4 inches or 6 inches to achieve a level or maybe with a slight rake? I will get extended brake lines (front and rear) - Frontier brakelines work for the rear too I have KYB shocks for front I have Bilsteins for the rear I am looking at the stuff and i cannot do anything about it... ahhhh Regards, DJ
  9. Looking forward to it. You have an awesome ride Regards, DJ
  10. It sure is sturdy but unfortunately heavy too... but love it Regards, DJ
  11. A roof rack makes things easier and gives you plenty of space along with options you can have. There are plenty of after-market roof racks available but I was looking for something that will give me a good nights sleep with a million star view on top and also provide support for the ARB Awning and the LED bar. I went with a custom RR. Gave my friend a design and with some further brainstorming, he fabricated this awesome roof rack for my pathfinder. Every weekend, I head out to desert. Putting up a tent in the middle of night after a long bumpy ride and then putting everything back the next day is tiring, so I had a mesh on top so I can simply roll out a folding foam mattress and use a sleeping bag as a blanket. Works perfectly and also gives a great view of people and bonfire from up top. My friends just love it and we spend most of our time up there playing or just laying lazy star-gazzing This is what I have: This is how I sleep now
  12. Sure. There ya go More on my build thread Regards, DJ
  13. Where do I cut them from and what length? Yup, I will be doing SFD. Can you please guide me further? I clearly misunderstood and was under the impression that I will need 2" lift springs for the front AND 4" lift springs for the rear as that is what I have been asking... So theres no use for the WJ springs for the front on pathfinder? Now I have WJ 4"lift springs for the rear which I need to cut. I got the bilstein shocks for the rear too. Also have the KYB shocks for front and apparently the WJ 2" front springs are pretty much useless for my application... I am sure I am missing something so kindly correct me if I am wrong. Much appreciated... Regards, DJ
  14. I will not...?? I thought its supposed to be for both front and the rear!!! What do I do now...????? I sure will.. Thank you
