  1. Damn! Now I know not do go swimming anymore! How did this happen? Did it just seep in?
  2. Yes!! I'll check with Xplor first. Thank you for the offer!!
  3. Perfect! My own is around 201 as well. How much are you letting it go? I can pay for shipping!
  4. Hi NPORA Forums, First of all, I thank everyone for the helpful comments in most of my posts. I am looking for a Speedometer Cluster Gauge for my 1997 Nissan Pathfinder. Anybody want to sell theirs to me? I'm in College right now and funds are very scare right now. Also to add, Pathfinders are rare in my area. Help a brother out? Thanks, Jose
  5. Hello NPORA nation, I got a big question for everyone, and that is Should I keep my R50 1997 Nissan Pathfinder? Just to state as well, I am currently 19 in my second year of college, my Pathfinder (her name is Abbie) was my first car and I love her a lot! The car was given to me from family - it was a junkyard car stored in someone's yard - a beast in hibernation. There are many reasons why I am thinking about keeping, or thinking of buying a new car (listed below) Pros: It's my first car (since High School) I've put in so much time restoring engine parts in the car - like thermostat, radiator, brakes, brake booster/master cylinder, oil changes etc I know the car, and the feel of it ; I've customized the interior , adding a 2000watt amp and subwoofer ; including custom headunit with manual ran wires Ran custom wiring for the amp - 0 Guage wire + thinking about running a light bar soon I just purchased new KUMHO All Terain tires 265/70/R15 's Newly tinted Windows I Love my car ... PERIOD Stock Suspension - I'd want to lift the car soon, but it's high enough for me Cons: Rusting on the car is getting worse, living in a tropical area makes it much worse Needs a lot of body work Car is full of scratches from previous owner Transmission feels that it doesn't shift at 2nd or 3rd gear (if I am flooring it) - probably needs a change or flush, but I am not totally sure When raining, there are leaks on the roof (from the rust probably) Some window regulators don't work Running by-pass ignition switch because of faulty alarm always going off Shocks are getting bad now, getting a lot of wobble Dirty Engine Bay - always wanted to replace wires since everything is dusty and greasy Wires have been bitten by rats since it's been sitting there for a while Infested with ants due to the wet/rain coming in from roof and other areas of the car Is my car worth keeping - is the question? Are R50 really reliable when having fun like offroad without running into any options? GIVE ME INSPIRATION Thank you, Jose Picture of my truck: http://imgur.com/download/q2veUIK http://imgur.com/download/biLEO6x
  6. Looks great! Don't forget the turn signal lights! I'd also recommend adding holes for screws in the middle/top for a light bar - imitating those jeep bull bars.
  7. I think biggest tires with everything stock - Suspension, bumpers, and lift are: 265/70R15 265/70R16 265/70R17 Depending how big your rims are. Considering everything is stock, it might be a stock 15x7 Alloy rim. You can get bigger, but you need lift spacers and others. Cheers
  8. Hello NPORA nation! I need help. I am currently the 3rd owner of a 97 Nissan Pathfinder, and I don't know the car radio history of the car. Curently the car is using a Old 2004 Pioneer Single Din Radio, running a 2000watt Planet Audio Amplifier, with Dual 12 Subs. I want to upgrade to a double din w/ bluetooth and a backup camera, and my question: Can a double din fit on a 1997 Nissan Pathfinder? If you could answer soon, and provide the correct harness to come with the double din that will be great!! Thank you, Jose
  9. I've seen multiple posts online about this problem about: "Temperature Guage Rises when Idle but fine when driving", but most of the those posts involve having 2-3 separate fans where we R50 Pathys have only one. On to the point, my temperature guage has been rising up to H recently while the car is on idle on the road. But once I start driving for a good minute, the guage goes back to the original 9:00 face. Background: The radiator mounting has been re-built under the radiator (since rust) and radiator has been flushed and refilled with new Coolant. & Fan Turns on Normally. Anyone can help a brother out? Thanks, Jose
  10. Hello NPORA peoples! I am looking for upgrades for my Pathy's Look! Looking for : Custom Grilles Custom Front Bumper Custom Back Bumper I'm planning to do body on my path first than the tires and rims. Thanks!
  11. I'm going to hold this thread for now and let me focus on my body first guys! THANKS FOR ALL THE FEED BACK!
  12. Thanks everyone for your help! But for XPLORx4 I'm going to answer your questions so you can help me a little bit! Questions for you: On what terrain do you plan to use the Pathfinder? (ex: light-duty fire roads, mud, snow, rock-crawling, etc.) The answer to this question will largely affect the decisions you should make about how/when to make modifications to it. I'm planning to go just go offroading in mud and like going up grassy mountain ranges and stuff. I live on an island so there isnt most offroad areas but the look of the car will look good as I do. Is this your daily driver? Yes! How many miles per week do you drive? I'm not very sure. Everyday I go 4 miles to school and back so around 8. What is your budget for tires? CHEAP AS POSSIBLE ~300 for the whole set How frequently do you want to replace the tires? Hopefully a set for 2 years. I don't have enough money to replace for every 6 months or something What is your budget for a suspension lift? $100 for everything
  13. Hello everyone! I am new to NPORA and considering it can help me alot with my pathfinder! Since I'm still 18 years old, I still don't know what comes to suspension when I want to get off road tires. Heres what my path looks like right now: I know these are not the original tires but they're original rims. I don't know how the owner got rid of the tires. I need help on what I should get if I were to get tires: What tires you recommend to get? What suspension lift to get?
