  1. Thanks for the help guys. I found the other thread that explains peoples exact set up and it was really helpful. I did some research on the stock wheels and I think I some pretty cheap spacers for the wheel. Here it is. http://www.ebay.com/itm/271511713538?redirect=mobile
  2. Well I'm going to be lifting my truck soon and getting some new tires as well, so I just have a couple of questions. 1. With a 2" lift, what is the max tire size i can go on the stock 16 in rims without rubbing? 2. Would I need wheel spacers in order for the tire not to rub? 3. Is there anyone out there who has a spacer lift on their truck? If so, please tell the pros and cons of that lift. 4. If you had a choose, would you choose new shocks or wheel spacers with this type of set up? I would really like this to be a hub for people to get all the info on lifts and tires for the r50. Most, if not all, of the info on it is spread though out the forums and its a pain in the butt to find exact answers.
  3. looks good. what did you use to cut it?
  4. I have seen stoics and it looks awesome. If there is anyone out there that could make me one out of pipe and ship it to me I would pay them well.
  5. Welcome to the forums. Its nice to have another souther brother join the forum lol. I got a buddy who just got a jeep with some rust on it. He just sprayed the underbelly with some plasti dip. He said it would help prevent more rust and gives it more strength or something like that. If you are at all concerned about that then at a look at it online.
  6. I already posted this in the looking for parts category, but I would like to post it again (It's a psychological thing). Anyways, does anyone know where I can get a missing link? Does anyone here make one from pipe? If so please let me know. Also, I would like to know exactly what it does. I know it connects the independent suspension and makes it ride stiffer, but how will that help off road? More flex? I would just like to know. Thanks.
  7. If your oil is leaking, you can try oil stop leak. I had a 99 and now have an 01. Same problem. I got stop leak for both and it fixed it right up. And also make sure all of your gaskets are tight. Some of mine were loose when I bought it.
  8. will this work? http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0015CGUO2/ref=ox_sc_act_title_1?ie=UTF8&psc=1&smid=ATVPDKIKX0DER
  9. Well, my muffler broke . So i need to find a new one stat! Please help!
  10. Well I hope that right. A $200 lift kit is pretty sick IMO.
  11. Hey quick question about the lift. Your website says the strut and coil lifts come in pairs, so for example, if I bought the front coil spacer I would get 4 1 inch coil spacers?
  12. Thanks. I think I might start of by getting a cargo basket. A cheap item that will make my truck look more aggressive without doing a lot of work sounds good to me. Found one at Walmart for $107 with shipping so I might just get it.
  13. Well, I finally got my tag, so now its time to mod and drive this wonderful machine. Here are a pic of it before I cleaned it inside and out.
  14. Thank you for the help. I'll probably buy some around December ish. I would buy the skid plate you offer, but there is for for the r50 on 4x4parts.com and it cheap. I know the one you make is bigger and better but I dont see myself rock crawling anywhere in the deep South
  15. Thanks man. I'll do the measurements and figure it out. Should I replace the struts and springs or will stock(if they look ok) be good enough
  16. What size tire can i get without rubbing with a 2inch lift? And if i do 2inches in the front and 2 in the back, will it level out the car? I know that the back is normally higher, so i assume it will even out.
  17. And thank you everyone for your help. Is there any threads I should look at in particular?
  18. so fleurys, I've looked at your website and have seen your spacers. How long do they last and how do they ride?
  19. I was sent here by bushnut. So here is my story. Well I've had my first pathy for about a year. It is a 99 xe w/out 4 wheel drive. I loved the car, but I knew deep down inside that I needed a 4x4. So I worked my *** of this summer and bought a 01 pathfinder se. Its in really good condition, but I need to make it more off road capable. So if there is anyone out there that can help me, please let me know. I was thinking of getting warn manual locking hubs to improve gas milage first. I also want to lift the car a solid 2 inches by using strut spacers in order to fit 31 or 32 tires on it. Is this a good idea or should I do something else?
