  1. Had similar issue with my 2001 Nissan Pathfinder SE 4x4 5spd after I had changed everything in the front end out and put a small lift on. Though I thought like you probably (wtf); I later discovered that it just had to settle a bit. Then I had some creaking popping noise too about 30,000 miles later and got worried about it and took to the Facebook 96-04 R50 page. They were pretty dead on with guessing a cv axle either going out early or like my mechanic told me; "it might have just got in a bind" as I was unable to replicate it. Hope this helps. Good luck and I'd encourage you to check that Facebook page out! Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G900A using Tapatalk
  2. Thanks man! I am looking to have this done to my 2001 4x4 5spd 3.5l soon as I get around to it so I'll pass this information along! Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G900A using Tapatalk

  4. Hey all! Got a bit of hesitation with my truck upon start up and was wondering if anyone has any ideas on what I should or could do? I have done all the main stuff within the past 6-9 months. NGK Platinum plugs, fuel filter, air filter, new muffler, and fresh oil changes as needed. My tires are 265/70 r16 General AT2'S so I understand that my mileage for gas might be decreased by a little bit but since the new muffler 2 weeks ago it's even worse. I'm getting about 14.5-15.75 mpgs and thought with the new muffler I'd be possibly increasing my mpgs. Anyhow, I saw on the 96-04 R50 Facebook page that someone had changed their MAF sensor and that it now runs like new. Keep in mind that my Pathfinder has been pretty well kept and maintained so I'm leaning towards purchasing a new one (MAF sensor) just to see what happens. I'm no mechanic though and would appreciate any information or advice for doing this swap. Thanks in advance! Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G900A using Tapatalk

  7. Anybody know where to get the "blend door cable"? For a manual controled heat and air control panel????? Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G900A using Tapatalk
  8. Try blowing out the vacuum lines and charcoal filter. That was my problem with the 97' model Pathfinder I had. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G900A using Tapatalk
  9. 265/70 r16 tires should be the biggest you can do and still will probably have a rub. Be careful!
  10. Thanks..I'll look for your write up on this subject! Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G900A using Tapatalk

  13. Help with my blend door problem! 2001 Nissan Pathfinder SE 3.5L 5spd and 4x4 with manual heat and air control panel. Advice please on a broken blend door! Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G900A using Tapatalk
  14. Can't understand why my blend door is stuck with the vents on "face". This time of year I had the heat on and when I changed to defrost while on a high setting it "broke" and is stuck on face. Any videos or suggestions for the repair would be greatly appreciated! BTW, it's a 2001 Pathfinder SE 3.5L 4x4 5spd manual if that helps along with manual heat and air control panel. Thanks!!!
