  1. Hey everyone i just wanted to have some opinions on what's some good setups for air tools and what will last for a beginner DIYer like myself. i'd also to hear what everyone else has as there set up and how that's working out for you guys. I never really did anything major on my truck, but i want to learn and i figure having air tools is a great way to start, and also to learn simple mechanics. My ideas on what to purchase are the following. http://www.ebay.com/itm/New-Craftsman-10-Pc-Air-Tool-Set-w-High-Torque-Wrench-Air-Hammer-Auto-Mechanic-/251490573041?hash=item3a8e019af1&item=251490573041&pt=Motors_Automotive_Tools&vxp=mtr and this compressor http://www.ebay.com/itm/2-5-HP-21-Gal-125-PSI-Cast-Iron-Vertical-Air-Compressor-/161135067781?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item2584660285 Thanks everyone again.

  7. Yeah definitly true, ima focus on getting my lift supplies ready, ill just buff and wax the truck every now and again , that should suffice.
  8. Thats very true, yeah im going to focus on getting the important stuff, and thats very true about the small dings an scratches it's bound to get them.
  9. I went off-roading and where i went there were a ton of branches everywhere i was like fskc, too late to turn back now. I drove through them and got teeny sized chips on my windshield, lot of scratches on my passenger fender and semi-scratches on the body, i got home took out the sandpaper and the car spray paint, and did a quick job of spraying over the scratches, accidently got white paint on my front bumper lol. Now just concerned about the look of my pathy lol. MY question is should i get a new paint job ? or should i just focus on completing my off-roading package , what would you guys do? If i were to go with the paint job how much on avg is it to paint the truck? I'd paint it white because thats what i have right now. Thanks!
  10. Do they come with everything i need to install them and make the conversion from automatic to these?? All the hardware etc or do i need to buy those seperatly?
  11. Well then... those are quite expensive guess i gotta search around for some deals on them
  12. My 99 SE has 116,356k miles Still got plenty of life in it, and plenty of time to mod it out
  13. Exactly man, ur only like an hour away from me but even so i barely see any , every since i saw this WD21 i saw about 2 in the time span from when i made the topic . 21 years and i see my first WD21... lol...
  14. Good luck, hope everything works out with getting your truck back
  15. I think you should go with the lift, more clearance when off-roading
  16. Never seen one of those till now, interesting and some good info on them
  17. Yeah i'm pretty sure they are, i think you have to remove the wheel bearing and or the brakes if you want to replace them, but don't take my word for that , Almost positive you need to remove the bearings.
  18. I personally don't like any of the newer cars, i love the older 90's and up to the 2004's new cars imo have lost there touch and the main purpose of what a SUV is etc.
  19. Anyone from the new england area or surrounding areas know any good off-roading spots? Any information would be very helpful thank you!
  20. If it's the rear Wheels, all you need is a hammer and a nut hammer the cover off , then just hammer the studs out put the new ones in grab a nut and put it on the other end and torque it tight, There's dorman studs at autozone for 2 dollars a piece instead of waiting for the shipping lol, I just replaced my rear studs wasn't that bad at all
  21. https://www.4x4parts.com/nissan/mile-marker-manual-locking-hubs-p-243.html Found these on 4x4 parts thinking about sending an order out for them, they look promising.
  22. Ok i will definitly go take a look into those items , and thanks for the info! On the mile marker hubs does everything come included accesories for install etc?
  23. Got any suggestions to which brands i should get for the shocks? i heard kyb's were good and any personal preference that you have?
  24. Hello everyone, i have a 1999 Nissan pathfinder SE, and i was just wondering what good mods i can make to the truck on a budget. I recently got some parts replaced since i got the truck Replaced: Front brakes Both front CV Axles Passenger side Ball joint Passenger side oxygen sensor Front Struts(Gabriels installed) General grabber tires size 245 75 16 That's what i put on the truck so far i made up a list that i want to put on the truck but i also need everyone's opinion on all the items any information is helpful to me. Want to install: Warn hubs (not sure if i just need to buy the warn hubs or other pieces so i can install it) 2"Lift Skid plate Tire carrier Front wheel bearings Rear shock Absorbers Fog lights set up I mainly want to off-road in this vehicle but it's also my everyday driver. Just not sure which mods i could make to make it better for off-roading, any insights would be greatly appreciated. Thank you
