  1. Got it fixed yesterday. It's fairly easy. Took me about 1 hr. 15 min. Most the time was spent wiping oil Taking off the facia and shield pieces sure made it easier to access the oil filter.
  2. Thanks. I'll have to fix it once it warms up.
  3. My 2007 Pathfinder SE has started leaking oil. It's got 120,000 miles and has been meticulously maintained using full synthetic fluids. It is coming from the lower part of the engine. It's in the area at the back part of where the oil filter goes on. I'll take it to my mechanic and let him pinpoint it exactly. I am disappointed. Maybe I should have stuck with Toyota like I've always done.
  4. Just purchased a 07 Pathfinder SE Off Road to replace my 93 Pathfinder SE.
  5. I took my spare tire rack off. It was ugly and made it a pain to get in the back.
  6. Here's a link http://www.nissanpathfinders.net/forum/topic/36941-changing-manual-tranny-fluid-question/?do=findComment&comment=700799
  7. Picked the clamps and hose up at NAPA for $4.64.
  8. Tightening the clamps worked for about 3 weeks. It's leaking again and worse than before. I'll be getting some new clamps and hose. Where did you guys get the clamps? Are they at any auto parts store?
  9. I think I found it. One of the clamps that skibumbrian was talking about had some leakage around it. I tightened it down and I'll see if that takes care of it. Thanks
  10. I've got a 1993 SE that has a gasoline smell when I start it up. It's fairly strong but doesn't stay around. It only smells when I first start it up. It started after a shop adjusted the idle. I don't want to take it back to them because they were dishonest and did poor work. Any suggestions to what it could be.
  11. It's real stable. That cup on the right is huge and it stays in place. It has a specific place under where the cup sits to attach it. I added a 2nd screw on each one at the front. I drilled a pilot hole and made sure to not overtighten it since it's plastic.
  12. Here's what I did. $6 a piece from OReilly's. There's 2 screws in each. Works great One has a 16 ounce energy drink and the other is a 32 ounce cup.
  13. Got the fluid changed. 5 min to drain the old fluid. It was a very dark grey color and there was 3 3/4 qts in it. 5 min to add amsoil. About 2 hrs to remove and reinstall gear shift knob. It was a pain. The tranny shifts as smooth as butter
