Your Pathfinder Info
I have a 1995 pathfinder with 32 inch tires and 15 inch wheels. It has a brush guard and all camp interior. 4 Baja off road lights. It has 298,000 thousand miles and still going strong. I'm looking for a lift kit.

I own a 1995 Nissan pathfinder and three months ago the engine started to act weird and kept getting worse so I have decided to just put a new motor in it. My buddy has a 1999 pathfinder with a good motor in it but a body not worth fixing. So I'm wondering if the motor out of the 1999 will fit in my 1995 and mount to my tranny as well.

I have a 1995 nissan pathfinder LE and it idles fine but when i put it into reverse or drive it bogges down to 0rpm and barely runs and when i give it gas in drive to go somewhere it sounds like it is going faster then what it is and i can only get up 30 miles per hour and it only makes it to second gear. I would like some help please been doing this for 2 months now and i am ready to stop pouring money into it. thanks.

-
this is second pair of brand new wires I bought and still lighting up
-
I bought them from O'Reillys auto parts and they where the only brand in stock
-
on one of them the spark plug and wire touch but the other flashes are on the wire it self
-
I changed my spark plug wires today and these are still flashing like the old ones and it don't run any better
-
I looked under my hood last night while it was dark cuz that's when I got home and and while she was running I saw the spark plug wires lighting up just the wires are they suppose to do that and if not could this be the problem
-
I found something online about what's going on with spark plugs when they look different ways and I found what mine look like and it says that my spark plugs are gapped to big and I need to replace them so I checked them and they are suppose to be gapped at 0.32 and there gapped at 0.40 so could this be my problem
