  1. I just mounted KYB Gas-A-Justs on my 94 Pathfinder two months ago. The ride is smooth and stable. Bought them as a 4 shock set from Justsuspension.com for about $160 delivered to my front door. I was looking at the Ranchos but my Explorer has the 5000s and the ride is a little unforgiving on rutted roads, the Gas-A-Just are smooth as butter. Good luck!
  2. My money is on a bent rim, but a balance job would be a good start. I had a similar issue with a bent rim on my Pathfinder when I switched over to rims I got from a totaled 02 Xterra. If it was balanced and on the rear the vibration was hardly noticeable but it was awful when the rim was on the front, balanced or not. Ended up replacing the rim in the end.
  3. There are plenty of You Tube videos on changing shocks. While I didn't see any for a WD21 the process is pretty much the same for most shocks. Watch a couple and you will get the picture. It is very simple in the rear, 2 bolts each. Fronts take a little muscle to compress the stem into the bracket but again only couple of bolts each. I just did all four corners with Gas A Just's 2 weeks ago and it took me about 2 hours including a tire rotation (figured that I might as well do it while i had the impact wrench set up) and clean up. Simple job with a huge payoff both in ride and safety. Good luck!

  6. Hello all! I have owned my 94 for about 7 years. I bought it out of a police impound as a fill-in vehicle after my Honda died a painful death on a lonely stretch of I10, 50 miles from no where. It turned out to be my daily driver for about 4 years before it decided to have a few to many "personality" issues to be dependable. So it sat on my driveway for a couple of years, moving ever so often to keep the HOA off my back. Truth is I just liked it to much to part with it. About 5 months ago, I decided that I needed something to do so I started working on the Pathfinder. I never realized how much i would enjoy hanging around salvage yards and spending my weekends greasy and dirty. So far, YouTube and the NPORA forums have been my go to plan when i have questions. i figured i might as well join NPORA since Im on the site regularly. When the 94 is done I will look for a R50 4x4 to clean up and lift, although my wife doesn't know about that part of my plan just yet.
