  1. Really dude? I'm on here more than anyone and trying to answer countless unanswered threads here... what are you doing other than criticizing people for asking legit questions? Or just not answering any of them at all. This site is full of thousands of threads that have tons of questions and no answers. I wonder why? Because there is no one here that's willing to help it seems. (except for a small number of very friendly people) So much for this forum being a close nit group of people... there's only a handful of folks here that are #1, willing to help and #2 know how to answer the questions... And yea before you say "just search", I do search and all I find are more threads of people asking the same questions with no answers or a thread that are 15 pages long. And no I don't have a shop with a professional collection of tools to fabricate anything I like at a moments notice. I live in LA proper. The pathy is my daily driver. So no I don't have the manifolds in front of me. They are on the truck. Excuse me for being a n00b.
  2. Is the POWER button turned on? (The button to the left of the steering wheel) this button makes the trans hold each gear a bit longer before it shifts to a higher gear...... I like it on when I'm in traffic or going up hills as it lets me use the gears longer before the trans decides to shift before I'm ready. also might be time for a tune up - new spark plugs, wires, coil, air filter, fuel filter, oil change and if that doesnt help get a new MAF, O2 sensor, PCV and get some seafoam and run it through the entire engine. I poured mine through the PCV hose and into the oil, and into the gas tank.
  3. Went wheelin this weekend and it seems the rear end has settled some (more so than the front) should I put some spacers under the springs? Also should I get some ball joint spacers to use with my superlift UCA's? https://www.4x4parts.com/nissan/pathfinder-ball-joint-spacers-p-199.html If you look towards the end of the video, it almost looks like the front wheels don't turn in the same direction.. I'm not sure if this is because of crappy oem steering (which is brand new) or just an alignment issue... thoughts? thx
  4. Hey guys on the doug thorley headers, does the OEM EGR pipe connect to these aftermarket headers? or is there some sort of an adapter? Just wondering as the place where the pipe connects doesn't appear to be on the same place as the OEM manifolds...
  5. anyone have any updates on how their front LSD's are doing? Still debating on doing the R200 in the front and an arb locker in the back.....
  6. Whatever happened to this project? I've been trying to decide if I want to a swap but there are no turn key solutions
  7. http://www.arbusa.com/Vehicle/1995-nissan-pathfinder-.aspx or should I just get a locker and be done with it? haha which one would I order if I have the HG46 axle? How many splines? 31 or 33........ would I need the master rebuild kit along with this if I wanted to rebuild the whole diff?
  8. also where can i get the clutch pack for the h233b lsd? or do I even need it? how can i tell what parts i need to rebuild it? thanks!
  9. yea so whats the process just spread it around till it makes a seal?
  10. Well I dont have a choice but to have the exhaust welded to the muffler... I was hoping it had flanges... Or I guess I could have them add some?
  11. Nice man lets see some pics! yours is not street legal?
  12. Thanks for the valuable input! Should I just throw a locker in the rear and be done with it? I guess the R200 in the front would be nice but its my daily so it may be more cost & trouble than its worth... As for lockers in the rear what would be the best bang for the buck? or would that even make sense for a daily driver / weekend warrior? Thanks again!
  13. Also those cats are only 2" in diameter? not sure if that is correct for the headers / exhaust... http://www.amazon.com/MagnaFlow-339004-Stainless-Universal-Catalytic/dp/B00BF2YUB2
  14. Saw that you have the same setup as I do... did you have to do any welding to get your gibson exhaust to connect to the muffler? also I see where the Y pipe is on the thorley headers that it needs weldin too is that right?
  15. Just unplugged mine and the issue got much worse........ I guess it has to be either the wiring or the ignition switch.
  16. https://ruggedrocksoffroad.com/nissan-pathfinder-h233b-master-install-kit-by-nitro-axle-gear-p-57672.html Would this work to rebuild it?
  17. yea my AC is busted... and its going to be 100F tomorrow ugh! I definitely need to get it fixed.... So I guess there's not much benefit to having the JDM version of the VG33?
  18. ugh really wish i could edit my own posts that are not more than 10 min old! http://nissannut.com/maintenance/vg33e_upgrade/ some good info here... any reason to not just drop in a full vg33?
  19. http://www.jdmenginescorp.com/engine_details/nissan_pathfinder-infiniti-qx4-jdm-vg33e-vg33-de-vg33de-engine sorry conor not trying to thread jack - would dropping in one of these work with existing trans / ecu and fit without any issues?
  20. http://www.jcwhitney.com/benchmark-oe-replacement-catalytic-converter-49-state-legal-no-ca/p3038581.jcwx?filterid=d1685y1995g119j1 is it this one? Their website sucks. I'm never really sure what the product looks like or if it actually fits......
  21. What cats should I run and not have to worry about passing ca smog?
  22. Would the oem heat sheilds fit over the doug thorley headers? just curious
  23. whats the reasoning for mixing and matching parts between the VG30 and VG33? why not just swap the whole thing or would that not fit? I'm a newb so never did one of these swaps! would the headers fit the vg33 heads without issue?
  24. that is an option but the keys I have are so worn down that it would be nearly impossible to duplicate it... I have a feeling they're not OEM.
