Take a look at the IAC and the TB sensor.

If you get a vg33e out of a frontier or xterra it should drop pretty much straight in. But no one here has posted a swap from one, just stories.

He might have one, I still have my stock tank. The distance with it sucks indeed. I ran out of gas and dropped 16.5 in it.

Just get one from the jy fill it with water and if it fit 20 your good if it is 15 return it and get another, then retry.

Well I'm starting to get a whine in every gear but 4th now. I over filled it which I thought would save the others but I think it's on it last leg. I'll have to find a 96 or newer 5spd after winter.
No viable leaks from it so I think the PO just never over filled it.

Noise and poor o2 readings, depends on where the holes are. I just cut out the muffler and straight piped it with the cat. Seems to run better. Not noticeable mpg loss, except from me flooring it everywhere now, cause it sounds good.

I have two mounted onto my arm rest. Not the best looking thing but it seems to work well enough.

I think I fixed it. I saw a leak from fuel rails and fixed it. Also fixed a vacuum leak. The problem seems to be gone haven't had it for a few days. And it was under hard acceleration. I guess I have to wait for a few days if it comes back.

Exact same transmission as it bolts to the same stuff, but I believe the gearing is a bit shorter, so a tad more efficient. But don't take my word for it.

It's that one, still can't seem to find the problem. One of the senor might still be bad but I tested them and they worked alright.

If you end up getting a 95 or older. Overfilling is a must as I found out too late. I'm due for a rebuild or a new Trans when this one finally goes.

I unplugged the IAC, EGR, and of sensor but it didn't change anything kind of made it worse till I put them back on. I did each one separately. Haven't gotten to test the CTS, but I will. I think I have narrowed it down a bit. I smelt raw fuel under the hood, and saw what looked wet. Let it sit till after work and it had evaporated. Now I think that it might be a cracked line or loss fitting somewhere. I might have just found my answer, time to go digging again.

^ The SE model came with 31's from the factory, and 33' need a bit of lift to fit. You might have 32's if it is lifted a tiny bit. And welcome hope you find all the info you need.

Went and got a new exhaust on her. Has a nice sound and really throaty, but not much drone at all.

I'll check what I can when I can, I'm still going to go with the whole exhaust thing since it's super rust and has holes everywhere.

The only thing I can think of is the exhaust. I know I need a whole new exhaust but I've decided to go put a new cat and o2 sensor, be it the problem or not, this monday. That is the only thing I can think of, as it super old and has no previous records from the PO for exhaust work.

Cleaned the maf, and tb. Wiggled all the connectors and have only pulled a 55. I am stuck, and almost at a stand still. I'm bout ready to get a full diagnostic done to find all that is wrong, if any. Now I don't know if the o2 senor is bad or not. I will unplug it tomorrow.

So I have got even more confused. I replaced the fuel and air, checked the plugs and wires. Every once in awhile I feel like the vehicle loses power. I can slowly bring the revs up but if I push for it to accelerate it losses Rev's but I can hear the engine under power. It also has a very small bucking sensation. I was hoping it was the plugs but it all checks out. Now I'm even more confused. Before I bring this thing in what else could cause this? Still smells rich. All I can think of now, is that my cat. is clogged and causing to much pressure.

I'm doing a tune up soon. I also saw a rip in my air duct behind the MAF. So I need to repair or get a new one of those.

I went and sprayed the TB, MAF and changed the FF. I also realized I'm missing those little metal clips of many of the plugs out there. Like on the Temp sensor. So I need to get for fab some.

Sat and looked at my bag of parts, but can't throw them on till I'm off bed rest.
