  1. Sorry to bring this thread back from the dead. I have 4.3 gears and disc brakes in the rear. My hopes are to pull the 4.6 gears from my parts pathy. May be a dumb question, but I just am not sure if the discs that are with the 4.3 diff will match up with the 4.6. I am a newbie and just don't want to run into any issues. Any help would be huge.
  2. I have a 6x5 storage that I could use about half of for parts storage. I also have a little bit more space at another location for smaller stuff (nothing too big/messy). Basically, engine and tranny sized parts must be left behind. As for what must be left... as long as it is able to roll, all is good.
  3. Hey guys! Let me just start off by saying that this is my first legitimate post on this site. I have, however, mooched off of you guys for at least a year now, so I figured it was time to post. I used to own an 88 Pathfinder that I bought for about a grand and it ran like a champ. When she finally gave up on me, I knew my only option was to buy another one. I acquired a 91 5 speed with 170k on the odometer from Denver shortly after and we've been in love ever since. Anyway, now she has about 215k on her. She's runnin well, as I have always done all the maintenance on time. My friend had a 95 auto tranny with a bit less mileage that he just wrecked, and I bought it from him for $400. The damage was mainly to the front suspension parts, including one of the hubs. Engine and drivetrain are strong, and most cosmetic parts are in good shape. My question is, what would you take if you were in my shoes? I know not all cosmetic parts will carry over to mine, plus its an automatic. I have already taken the door handles and the tailgate lift supports, but I am only getting started. Thanks!
  4. Had an 88 that I sold at about 280,000 miles (poor decision... great truck). Now I have a 91 that just rolled over to 210,000. Runs great too, and I wont be letting this one go
