Not a fan of Borla exhaust. Had a lot of drone issues with it. PO on my dad's Pathfinder even had the Borla muffler replaced with Magnaflow due to drone.

I hate dents but I'm not worried about paint.
The way I see it, unless you take the paint off, dont repaint unless it will no longer be an off roading vehicle.
My Jeep's paint is absolute crap rattle can grey from the PO, but I never repainted it because it can get scratched up like crazy and I wont worry.
I'll repaint it when I restore it to stock.

There's also the Jeep style lights that go above the tire, although Im sure that affects visibility out the back. I've seen "universal" kits for that style stop light. If you have a tire rack and dont use a cover there are also LEDs that go in the unused lug nut holes.

If you go on the FB page you can view the admins, there are only two....

I left the facebook page the other day. It's really annoying, like the PoHo section.

x2 on the idler.
Other than that, very nice! Looks better than mine.

Do you mean ring and pinion? The gear that goes in the front differential?
-
Still the most dangerous method of transportation AFAIK.

Okay so this is a true story...I was in Florida with my buddy in 2012, actually drove my pathy there. Anyways we are at a traffic light while this explorer beside us keeps stalling and running rough. Some guy comes up from behind, gets out of his car and tells the lady in the exploder that its her "cadillac converter" and to go home and stab all the stuff out of it...I swear this actually happened. Does the sun bake their brains out down there?
It's the sun and drugs....

THIS IS 'MERICA I DON'T NEED NO CADILLAC CONVERTER TO TELL ME WHAT TO DO.
(I have nothing against my american friends on here, but this is how I feel whenever this topic comes up)
It's so very true though!
(All my vehicles that came with them still have them).

A real nice guy called this morning looking for the upper and lower radiator hoses for a 2004 Nissan Patrol with a TB48DE engine. (nice!)
It is his brother's who lives in Costa Rica. He said there is one Nissan dealer in Costa Rica and they wanted $400 for the two hoses.
He gave me the vehicle VIN and I pulled it up in the system to see if we could get the hoses, which we could not in the US. So I gave him some leads to find them.
After he got off the phone I took a look at the impressive list of optional equpment on this vehicle, one of which made me smile:
Side Air Bags
ASCD
LSD
ABS
Catalytic Converter
Anti Theft
Fog Lamps
Xenon Head Lamps
Rear AC
2 DIn AM/FM/Cassette/CD changer
Power Slide Sunroof
Front Grille Bar
Front Power Seats, Leather
Spare Tire Cover
Leather Wrapped Steering
Meter Gauge
You don't need that!

You didn't hear anything, or it didn't engage?
Those are two different things. I can safely say I've never heard noise from the auto hubs, maybe it's just me.
But they have always engaged. If you have the space and tools, I always prefer to just jack all four wheels off the ground to check, but there are easier ways of course.

The issues really stem from tire wear and drivability depending on wheelbase.
Some older vehicles, or vehicles that are really flailed on the trail can see breakage.
In my experience welded fronts tend to be the ones to go.

I think the adjustableness of the ranchos refer to the damping (how stiff or soft they are) not the length.
the length is measured eye to eye at full extension.
Yes, the Ranchos have adjustable damping.
The length never changes on any shock, you will need shocks for you application, whether its lifted or stock height.

Love my rancho adjustables.

Just remember guys lockers does not mean locking hubs.
Lockers refers to a front or rear differential locking mechanism.

If you're talking about the shade the goes against the glass, your best bet is ebay or a wanted ad here IMO.
They seem to have a habit of vanishing.

You can get the Jim Wolf ECU de-tuned to run on 87 Octane.
My dad's rig has it running on 87.

Don't attempt it, you'll end up tearing the foam seal. I tried pulling mine apart and the seal started tearing a little so I quickly put the clips back on before I destroyed anything else lol
PO took care of that foam seal, I have nothing to worry about.

I got the resistor out, and the fan, but I wanted to disassemble the box that holds the heater core.
Looks like the drain tube prevents this, along with possible another screw I can't find?
Either way, you really don't need to take the bottom off, I was just hoping that I could get more of that darn dog hair out that way.
-
How do you get the lower portion of the box off? I pulled all the available, bolts, nuts, and metal clips, but nothing.

I have drilled rotors front and rear from 4x4 parts.com.
I love them.
Before that I used NAPA Rotors.
-
I love mine, keep them at about 10ish psi around town.
I have the on board compressor to adjust on the fly.
But I've noticed under hard flex I hear air leaking from the lines....

Why would they convert to LHD? Thats a lot of effort to get rid of half the coolness of an imported diesel Terrano.
