I was so bummed out when my mechanic told me that I should start looking for another vehicle that I forgot to get any pictures! A friend has a Pathy(don't know the year)and he is always telling me that is I need anything out of it to take it. I am wondering if anyone knows what year is the last year that my 95' SE(V6)engine is compatible with? I am thinking of taking the engine out of my Pathy and put it in a comparable(non-rusting)body!

Hi people, I dropped off my Pathfinder to the guy that changes' the oil and any maintainance that needs to be done. He called me back within an hour and said that the chasis is getting to the point of being dangerous! It is a 95 and I have had it for 6 yrs. It only has 138,000 miles on it. Is their anything that can be done? Besides junking it?

When I got my '95 Pathy 5 yrs. ago, I was getting 22mpg! I was very happy! Now I am getting 18-19 mpg. It has 137,00 and is a dream on the highway. But the problem is rust,rust,rust!!

Folks, I would like to know if a snorkle is difficult to put on and what type of store would I look for to construct it to my vehicle? I have a '95 SE 4 cylinder.

I would like to thank everyone for their info on fixing or trying to control some of the rust that is dominating almost every part of my Pathy! The Path has 135,000 miles and I really believe that the rust will overtake the vehicle because any mechanical problems do. Allot of folks asked for photos so they can understand how bad this is. I will be online in a few weeks to show the extent of the rust problem. Thanks Bobby

Someone had told me that Nissan didn't start rust proofing the Pathfinder until 1996! We'll I have a '95 that is rusting throughout! Is there anything that I can do?
