  1. Completely agree and understand with the above posts, I'm still keen as once you're confident that it'll work and be reliable the way I see it is that it is a hell of a lot better than the standard set up..
  2. That's fair enough, from what I've seen on this thread I would buy them right now
  3. This looks awesome!! Do you take orders so I could also do this to my Terrano??
  4. Yeah I'm hearing ya I have black wheels on my other car and I can say one thing they a basted to keep clean lol Over the last week I've also fitted two power outlets in the back and a nice 40LED light bar to my bull bar which I'm very impressed with
  5. Must say I can't get over ther rust on the chassis as my 88 terrano is no where near as bad as that, but I think I recall seeing on the forum somewhere about there being salt on some roads over your way due to the snow/ice being so bad but I could be mistaken.. By the way awesome job and write up so far keep it coming

  8. Few pic's after I had the terrano detailed And a couple of in action pics from my last trip
  9. Ok well couple of updates swapped the iron man lifted rear springs from the pathfinder to the terrano and the foam cell shocks, then decided to give it a buff here's the after pics Also fitted a set of 32in all terrains to it the other day which suits my driving more than the set of mud Tyres that I coul literally see wearing away
  10. Yeah there are certain areas here that have never been completely logged which is good, where abouts are you located?
  11. Yeah it's not bad had a bit of work done to and was quite quite cheap Here's a tree I found yesterday that had been blown over the track for some time by the looks of it..
  12. Couple of new additions Shovel mounts Tyre pressure sensors fitted Also went to order my ARB winch bar and they won't be available until April and that's only once they have enough back ordered either way I can't wait 4 months to have it.. Personally I think this is pretty poor on ARB's behalf.. Few action shots from a day out over Xmas The Meeting point let the fun begin My brothers 89 hilux and my terrano
  13. Ok well home from work and got the tranny in and back together enough for a test drive and all seems well.. Very happy with it and feels quite good to drive just need to wind the torsion bars up more and replace the front uni's before I fit the front shaft and that will be be the last of the big jobs that need doing straight away before it's first adventure
  14. That sounds about right mind you considering they don't feel that bad and I'm saying that when my other car has just under 300rwkw lol
  15. Couple of updates: Z24 is DEAD rebuilt started and fingered in 5min can't be bothered finding the problem with the engine so this is now a spares car for the Terrano.. But in short 3liters of water in sump my guess is that the block was a little weak in a cylinder and has now got a crack in it but oh well.. Couple of picks of the terrano as I've now picked it up and given it a bit of a clean Sourced another tranny and transfer case locally which was a bonus as I had called near every wreckers in the state.. Fitted a boost gauge and seems to be running around 10psi ATM Apart from that there isn't much more to report for now Any tips are more than welcome
  16. no worries at all, i can't recall how i came across it now but certainly glad i did
  17. http://bebrs.pie-dabas.net/Webs/Terrano/ Sorry about the delay but its worth it trust me this is complete and even has a few other models just right click each link and save and you'll end up with the whole genuine manual at your finger tips
  18. I think I have a link to a good one on my laptop I'll have a look when I finish work today and forward te links
  19. Yeah i know it would have been to do with emissions, only reason i ask is that save replacing twice the amount of plugs and leads, my dads 89 navara was a single spark Z24 an used the exact same amount of fuel as mine and drove just as well maybe a little better as it had half the K's on it but it would hav also been slighty lighter aswell.. My plan is to give it a try keep records of fuel consumption and how it runs with single and twin plugs once i have fitted and ran in the engine that i've rebuilt.. I'll let ya's know how it goes and what differences i see when i do it
  20. I couldn't find this listed on here anywhere so heres a link for ya's complete R20 factory manual: http://bebrs.pie-dabas.net/Webs/Terrano/R20/fwd.pdf I'm still trying to work out how to save a complete manual from it with out saving individual sections but yet to nut that out yet lol
  21. Ah yes cool, I also found the post with part numbers etc after seeing this thread
  22. Yeah to nice i think ill have to do a bit more looking into it before i fork out for the tue bar, and alot of companies try to say they are different yet the suspension/steering stay pretty well the same and something that I never realized until I got my pathfinder a few moths ago is it share the same R180 or the R200 diff as is in the rear of the original Z cars and early 80s skylines
  23. 1x 92 pathfinder 1x 89 terrano north west Tasmania
