I used to get an occasional "Jeep Wave" from a couple random XJs (Jeep people are kinda dumb-the irony) but would only be verbally confused with other imports.
Nice to see you around man even without the white 88

This made me think, aren't self-driving cars creepy? Or am I the only one who thinks that?
I like to drive my car. Being driven by my car ? No thanks, not that I don't trust the technology but I am an old school guy .

I missed two pages, but this was a test. If it is of any interest to anyone, I can scan the 90 pages and i'll spread the TASK on about 10 posts. We'll then take this conversation to a more appropriate place. Sorry for not being in the topic here.
Today i wanted to take a pic and post it here... someone stole my camera in the central console!

Okay, As soon as I get time, the two manuals are on my desk already.
And maybe a better place for this conversation, any idea?

I like this car. Years ago (more than twenty years), back in France then, I noticed this front that i think is the most attractive in the design; We probably not imported this model in France where these vehicle would sell only in diesel, but Swiss and Belgian imported the 3 litres gas version, so, i saw a few of them and wanted it. Ten years ago in trinidad, I was behind one in the traffic and it was for sale... i drive it for ten years now.

At least you have an owners manual! I wouldn't mind having a copy of that.
Do you read/understand Japanese?? I'll try to remember scanning one page this week end.
Starting these days i get a lot of ticking from the lifters until the pressure is up, I replaced one of them with my last spare some weeks ago and noticed two of them on the right bank are damaged on top. I think it is time to change them all. Some in there are probably 28 years old. Impressive amount of work.

I found a yellow invoice in Japanese hidden under the center console. I can't understand it but looks like a leftover transmission ticket they put on the assembly line. Also found a white ticket well hidden inside the sun visor pocket. Also in Japanese, I found someone who knows the language and they said it was a parking card for a car park.
Yes, mine was imported from Japan too and i got the owner manual in Japanese. Not very helpful!

You might find money too
I have looked already

Pulled the front seats out and scrubbed them with some washing liquid and warm water, then hit them with the pressure sprayer. So much brown crap came off hidden in the fabric from the last 25 years of use. While the seats were out I vacuumed the carpet where I found $2 hidden under a flap in the carpet! Let the seats dry off all day in the sun and bolted them back in. The seat bottoms are still wet amazingly so I threw a towel in there for now but it's nice to have dirt free and nice smelling seats.
I need to do the same urgently

I remembered I had some sheep wool buffing pads in the shed but don't have the disc that goes onto them so I decided to make my own. Had some quarter inch mdf board laying around so I measured the disc size so the pad will fit over it nicely. Cut the round shape for the disc, drilled a hole in the center for a flat head bolt to fit through, fit a washer on that with a nut tightened really well on the other side. Slip the buffing pad over the disc and it fits my drill. Can't wait to try it out.
I can't wait for the next episode :-)

Was thinking of my next repair/maintenance and I realized that I have not heard of Alkorahil for a while, is it me only? Any body some news from him?

Just did a little internet search of the junkyards in my area, and in WD21s alone there are 32 trucks! Include the D21s, and that number jumps to 38. Include the R50s, and that number soars above 100. All that, within 25 miles of me... Colorado is Pathfinder poppin
I want to be in Colorado... "crying smiley (if any)"

It's bitter sweet honestly. Other stuff just took priorities and I know by time I have the time and money together again it will be too late (the whole 'leave it sit-goes to sheit' thing). Even once he leaves my possession, this place won't be able to get rid of me though. Well, technically there ARE ways...
Okays that sounds good. Thx.
and technically you know what to do, and practically everybody will be happy to see you around.
And who would handle the zombies attack?

Nunya, sry news seem to take time to travel. I was looking for a button like "don't like" or "report him" but the sens really is "this is not a good news".

Many thanks, Phillipe. They are now out! Took me a while to get a good view of those nuts - not easy to see in that tight, dark space. I thought the 3 nuts (they are 8mm on mine) were something else at first. Again, thank you, Rob.
Welcome, .
Philippe.

I have no pic off hand but if i remember, you should have 3 x10mm nuts inside the fender. remove them and pull the light assembly gently backward. all bulbs are on a quarter turn socket and can be removed without tool.
Philippe.
What did you do to your Pathfinder today?
