    Dome Light

Have you removed the dome lamp and clean the connectors? Not where the bulb connects but where the contacts are for Maybe some corrosion has built up. Try some electrical parts cleaner on the contacts where you switch from manual, door, or off.
  2. I tried turning it off but the light on the dash would come on and the lights at my feet would be on. I'm pretty sure it is the rear latch. Rather than leave it and risk forgetting it is on I just unplugged it. That way I don't need to worry about it.
  3. I couldn't find my old post about my dome light. It would come on at times while driving. It would be on partially. Kind of like a back feed. Anyway I took the door dome light switches off and cleaned them. They were fine but I did it anyway. Got to the rear hatch and the switch is in the latch. I know most of you know that. I couldn't get anywhere adjusting the latch. Easy fix. Unplug the damn thing. Problem solved.
  4. I really didn't start watching until the playoffs last season. I found myself watching and recording the games I couldn't watch. So I don't have a favorite team.
  5. I work with around 50 people. Everybody knows everyone. We still have people that will steal things out of your locked locker. So I wonder what these people will do to people they don't know. Yes people suck.

    Dome light

I have put washers under the striker. I will probably take the door switches off and pull them apart to see if there is any corrosion or anything that would make it not make contact. I'm not really worried about the rear hatch light. I can turn it on manually. Thanks for the input.

    Dome light

I did search and didn't find the answer. First off I have a 95. The dome light would not turn off for a couple days. I pulled the fuse to shut if off. Then today when I went to look at what is going on it went off. Now it works like it is supposed to. When the light was on I would push the switches manually and the light would dim. The rear light doesn't work with the switch. It will manually turn on. I pulled the rear switch off and opened it up. No corrosion. I have power and no broken wires. The switch works. I used a multi meter to verify the switch and the light assembly itself. I can move the switch on the light assembly and it switches from connector to connector like it should. I have already put washers under my striker for the rear latch to try and help. At this point i'm baffled. My main concern is the main dome light. If the rear one doesn't work. I'm ok with that. I didn't pull any of the 4 door switches off and look at them. Anyone have any tips for the dome lights? Like where I should look?
  8. The struts for my car are done. I think they turned out pretty good. The coil over sleeves fit a little loose so I added a second bead around the strut. Ground it down to make a snug fit. Most of the fixes is to put rubber o rings on then put on the sleeve. The o rings will eventually deteriorate. I only wanted to do it once.

    Tattoos

    I like the infidel tattoo.
  10. Grabbed the speaker boxes out of a pick n pull. The ones that go over the rear fender wells in back. It was half off day so that was a bonus. Now I gotta find a place to put an amp, hidden, and get a couple speakers.
  11. The car I have has struts on it. Noone makes replacement struts. I want to lower it some and others have cut their housings down and put in different inserts. So I figured why not. They are not finished yet. I still need to order a few more parts. I cut the tops off. Took more out of the body and welded the tops back on. Now I have more options for strut replacements.
  12. I see you have it bolted but those welds don't look like they will hold if you get into some serious stuff.

    FNG

I live in Woodland. Just north of Sacramento. Jacky Chan rides with me, yes. My co-pilot and safety manager. I went and saw Mushroomhead 2 nights ago. The last time I saw them was around 4 years ago. They just got Waylon and only had 5 or 6 guy in the band. Now they are 8 strong and the show was great. (hed)PE played also. I know of them but never saw them. They have a following. I you want to see a band that gets the crowd going, they get them going. Speeking of Mushroomhead a couple guys have a side project. Stitch and I can't remember the other guy. Ventana. Waylon and Skinny also have a project called Tenafly Viper. So OfftourRoadie96 you are one of the lucky ones. How many tattoos have you gotten from Jeffrey? I wish I was closer to them. Get to see them more often. What does Jason have going on now? I have not heard of anything he is doing. I can't find a pic of the Pathfinder at the moment. I will post one up soon, if I can remember. You know the whole getting older thing messes with your brain.
  14. Hey all I have a 95 SE 4x4 with a manual trans. I have had it for a couple years now. It does have it some noises here and there but I really like the vehicle. I am mechanically inclined so I do as much as I can on my own. I don't trust many people to touch any of my vehicles. I do plan on using JGC springs in the rear and re-indexing the torsion bars. I think the springs I got will be about 1 3/4" lift. I don't want anything too crazy. I don't go off road much. I would like to put manual hubs up front but I have not gotten around to it yet. I have been looking at the forums for a while and figured I would join. Of the Pathfinder sites I have visited I think this one is the best of them, most information, and used by more people more often. I am into cars and motorcycles aslo. My car is an 87 Conquest. My bike is a 98 TL1000R. I don't get on the computer much so not sure how much posting I will do. Cheers.
