  1. yeah i hit the deer going around 80kms haha i ended its life at impact and she was a pretty big deer prob the best 75 dollars ever spent, if i didnt have when i hit that deer i can bet that id be dead or i woulda had a deer in my engine bay which would mean WRITE OFF.
  2. i have the exact same one, when i bought my pathy, i took it to work the next day and a co-worker had it sitting in his garage he said he used to have it on his but he didnt like it so i went and picked it up for 50 dollars canadian, fliped it for 25$ new paint, primer, sand paper. and im so glad i bought it cause after a week of it on i was driving home and a deer jumped out infront of me and i drove away damage free, poor deer had a horrible death, RIP.
  3. this is somthing i wanted to do when i finish my pathy, take lots of pictures if you go thru with the project. good luck!
  4. this happend to me i lost my pads in my front driver caliber so i was usin my pistons to stop hhahahhahahahaha, if not then it ur master cylinder fo sho. good luck.
  5. to prepare the surface, you want to sand it down with light grid sand paper, just so the paint doesnt run, wash it off make sure its clean no dust or dirt, then spray some primer, do 2-3 coats of course let it dry befor you do another coat, then paint with paint color chosen do about 3 coats again letting it dry befor each coat, then wait a day for the clear coat. make sure you spray in the same direction left to right, spray 10 inches away from the surface. another thing to ad if you dont want the shine to it then theres no need for the clear coat. hope to see pictures of the finished product!
  6. someone told me that the stock fan uses a good amount of % just having to spin it, and by removeing it you will gain noticable HP, and increase fuel economy.
  7. hey friends, who here has done the fan swap, delete stock fan to an electric fan?
  8. i know what has to be done in order to do the project, but ive been looking around and im starting to like it without the tire carrier, hopefully i can close this deal by wed then i can do my mods on the 01 instead of the 97, if anyone is interested in my 97 its up for sale by wed, roughly 196km 5speed tranny pretty good shape.
  9. okay so im closing a deal on a 01 r50 and i was wondering what you guys think about if i were to take my 97 tailgate door and tire carrier and switched it onto my newer soon to be 01 pathfinder?
  10. i run 2 inch spacers and they make the rig look so much more aggressive
  11. no you got a good 5 inchs of side wall and i dont do any rock crawling or anything to rough so 5 inches of sidewall is good enough from preventing curb rash
  12. im going to through on 20 inch enkei rt6 wheels with some 33inch a/t thats where most of the money is going.
  13. what do u mean i dont need new struts for the lift?
  14. it would never work unless you wanted to spend few Gs on a hole new front end cause the fenders and hood and grill are all differnt from the older r50s even though they look really simular they really arnt.
