  1. Sounds like a bushing on sway bar You only hear the pop at a sudden rotation of the wheels Because that's when it's shifting sides. Mine had a similar clunk that was neglected for some time till I got around to it. Now I click and ding due to the previous owner installing spring adjustments that have long failed on stock suspension. Also original bump stops need to be changed due to age and myth that they: suck because of fabrication, age, composite, use, updated, wear and tear might as well if you are down there. I guarantee if you haven't replaced them they'll be pretty beaten up or gone... Sent from my SM-G930T using Tapatalk
  2. Found a company that makes the parking brake for Terrano 's which should be the same as my USDM Pathfinder on eBayLook at this on eBay http://www.ebay.com/itm/232234637829 .Got the idea after I found the brake cables in Japan add Thailand but under JDM part numbers and could not confirm a match from vendor. I've ordered speedometer cables before using nissan JDM part order and they match just different part look up. Confirm after install and arrive Sent from my SM-G935T using Tapatalk
  3. all the ones I've seen at the junk yard with drums have been in poor shape. This might push me toward the disk brake swap down the line but right now i'm on a budget and just want brake lines.
  4. as the tile post i'm looking for emergency brake lines for my 91 pathfinder 4wd M/T with drums I ordered Raybestos parts on someones recommendation bu they use universal brake parts and the fitting that attaches to drum is not present so it doesn't fit. i was wondering if parking brake cables were interchangeable between models if so i would just order a newer modern with drums or if anyone knew where to get the OEM parts where i wont be raped in charges. All the dealers i contacted don't carry the part or wont confirm that they are OEM infact
  5. Update just pulled old purple engine and am waiting on warehouse to have vg33 back in stock Sent from my SM-G935T using Tapatalk
  6. Just take everyone's advice no wrong way to do it. Unless your car is upside down. I tend to use hand brake to hold and catch Sent from my SM-G935T using Tapatalk
  7. Are the spark plugs hooked up in order? I've seen my old vg30 run in reverse for a bit after stalling and shutting off. Spark plugs were in wrong order paired with timing issue Sent from my SM-G935T using Tapatalk
  8. I would just run new wires. The amps go bad if you have any. Wire degradation do to ashe and weather is also am issue. Just bypass and run new lines. It's not difficult to do a clean install plenty of room to tuck wire Sent from my SM-G935T using Tapatalk
  9. Injectors are included with the motor I'm swapping in. I have injectors in working order for both engines. I think I'll be using the newer ones since they are more ethanol resistant and look cleaner Sent from my SM-G935T using Tapatalk
  10. The old engine. I was going through the ordeal of going to junk yard taking pictures and bringing screws back to match them but that fit old after I realized my car was old and instead of putting down for a new car I'd just wake mine up Sent from my SM-G935T using Tapatalk
  11. Long story condensed. Saw a fellow NPORA WD21 lifted to high heaven on calmini suspension cruising in Bellflower and it made me miss my pathy. So i decided to rebuild instead of "buying" something and new half plastic. Background Driveway mechanic my mother hired as a surprise to help me finish a water pump job ended up hacking up my pathfinder, so now I've decided to go for an engine swap. I was borrowing the driveway at my parents, got called in to work, came back and the idiot was cutting off my electric radiator fans from the harness and my freshly changed water pump on floor. Said it wasn't stock and he mixed up all my labeled screws . The guy got a right hook for trying to hustle my mom and mess up my car. I've decided on a vg33 I'm letting my actual mechanic finish the job since I don't have time. Aside from miscellaneous hoses and bits I would need Vg33 clutch Actual vg33 engine found a place local **$750 jdm engine , intake, power steering, alternator, engine harness and ecu** I have A quest alternator that bolts up with pulley swap Two 13 electric radiator fans Upgraded two row radiator Cold air intake 3 inch body lift Pulled out ac out Manual 4wd I also have Mr 510's adapter to use all my original accessories but I may just switch over to the new one and splice the harness myself Any other pieces I need or suggest while she is being worked on? 12. Yeah my truck has no muffler because of budget reasons because the one i wanted was too pricy at the time I just needed a new cat welded for emmitions. It sounds like a ricer 240 and I know everyone in my parking structure hates me at 5 am when I go to work. My other ride is 650 vstar with shorts so not much better. Performs great and had a noticeable difference in acceleration. As far the kn and filters. the stock air box rib hose doesn't seem to be as free flowing as a straight fabricated pipe pipe with inserts for sensors. The eBay kit is a crap. Its pieced together with nylon nipples for connections that don't sit flush. It needs some customozing to seal air leaks and remove obvious obstuructions. So if you want bolt on don't buy the kit I was disappointed I should have gone to home depot to piece it together for less Sent from my SM-G900T using Tapatalk
  13. I used a 2012 alternator and just swapped the pulley and got the bracket from from the quest. Other than that bolts right on. It was a mission finding a newer quest in a junk yard. Sent from my SM-G900T using Tapatalk
  14. I have 2.5 cat back with just a glass pack and cold air intake that I switch out for smog test. Engine definately feels more springy after the work. It got a little more spring after i removed yhe fan and clutch and replaced it woth dual electruc fans. I'm going to be pulling out the ac entirely. Then working on the water pump , belts and seals. My last pathfinder definately felt more alive without all the ac equipment weighing in it down . I might be doing that to my 91. It doesn't work and I'm not much for trouble shooting ac outside of low on freon and bad clutch. I recomend getting a higher output alternator. I have dual 12 inch fan hooked up to an electronic thermostat and when they both kick on with my lights one and other accessories. I start having flickering and fans slow down. I still haven't installed the alternator j pulled from a newer quest. Sent from my SM-G900T using Tapatalk
