  1. Well, its not that big of a problem. Normally, I don't need to turn the wheel that far.
  2. Winchester's about an hour drive from where I live. I live right by Dulles Airport
  3. Thanks for the info. I just talked to my dad and he said he replaced one of the exhaust manifolds before, but he's not sure if the mechanic did it right. He hasn't touched the other one because of the cost.
  4. I have 96k miles on my Pathfinder. Should probably replace the timing belt sometime soon and fix the ticking noise from the engine.
  5. Hello, My name's Tony and I come from Sterling, VA. I'm 21 years old. My dad owns our 1994 Nissan Pathfinder XE which is a 2wd with a 5 speed manual. I first learned how to drive it 2 years ago, and have been in love with it since. It only has 96k miles on it. Since we don't go off-roading, my dad gave it Michelin tires that are more for onroad usage. Almost everything on it is stock. The last thing I remember my dad did to it was install a new fan for the air conditioning unit. Since I started driving it, I replaced the manual transmission relay (which solved our starting problems in the summer), the starter (died one day and had to push start it to our mechanic), and new front brakes (replaced almost immediately after hearing the squeaking noise). It also has a tire carrier thats lost lubricants over the years, and the rear door won't stay up anymore, and needs to be propped up with a stick. The radio has a broken display, and some interior trim on the roof has started to come off. After reading a bit, I'm very sure that we have to replace the exhaust manifold studs, as its been exhibiting the ticking noise for quite a few years, and we did not know about it until I found this site today, but I've heard its quite expensive to do so. I'm just curious to know what are the consequences of not having it replaced. Also, there is a popping noise from the front whenever the steering wheel is turned all the way to the left or right and the car is going over a bump. Since that scenario doesn't happen very often, is it worth it to get it fixed? Looking forward to talking with you all and picking up more information on this car, as I would like to keep it for a long while. Thanks, Tony
