  1. Wow! Will add one on ASAP then. Maybe it is clogging. Sometimes it gets hot, and then one time it'll be cool as a whistle. I stop at a store for 30 minutes and drive it again, and bam! it's getting hot again. Thanks for all the help guys/gals. Much appreciated.
  2. Hello, Haven't posted here for a while. Now with the warmer months here in the Mid west. I've been noticing my tranny gets HOT! I can feel heat radiating up through the shifter, and feel heat radiating from around the pan. I don't think that is normal. I'm afraid to drive it far as I'm afraid I might blow the tranny. My pathy is a 1990 SE V6 Auto. Any thoughts? Or anyone experience this before? 10 years ago, I also had a 1990 Pathy, but don't remember it getting hot like this. Any help is greatly appreciated. btw, here is the pic of my Pathy: Before: After a Make-Over:
  3. I bought a set of the Cragar Soft 8's (Second picture in first post) from JEGS.com and s/h was free, with a handling charge of $13.99. I bought all 5 for $228. This is for the 15X8's though. Summit was charging 40 s/h or something like that. Something to look at. Otherwise, I seen a little decrease in MPG on my 90 Pathy. I had Aluminums with 30.5 tires...now I have the steelies with 31's.
  4. Oh...there's a Pick and Pull Junk Yard here in SE Wisconsin with 2 pathys for $1000 each. They seem in good shape. If interested, I can give you the # to contact them. One has a bad tranny, and the other one with a blown head. Titles have not been turned into salvage titles yet. I'll check for frame rust tomorrow, heading back to get more parts tomorrow.
  5. I agree. I just bought the 3" from 4x4parts.com It's better to do it right the first time. If you don't have money, maybe a lift right now is not a good idea anyways. Save up some money first and do it right the first time. I'm for saving money too, but sometimes, you just can't. Some things can be short cutted, some things can't...and this is one of them.
  6. Will, I lost my speedoo, odo, and tripo today. Kinda weird. I'm thinking it may be electrical. But thought I ask before I start diggin into the dash or where ever I need to start digging in. Thanks in advance. It's a 1990 nissan pathfinder.
  7. I'd replace them. Spend the extra $40-60 for new head bolts, and not have to worry if something is might go wrong. Replace them so you'll have better peace of mind.
  8. Anyone have instructions to install these besides the one that came with the warn man. hubs? It's crap instructions...and it's like a copy of a copy of a copy so and can't hardly read some of the words. I'm sure it's pretty much simple task, but just want to make sure how much grease, and where to put grease in...etc etc...
  9. Decided with the 3" BL from 4x4parts. Should be here next week, and will start installing in a month or so. Wanna get other small things and the transfer case put in first. Also got WARN manual hubs on the way too. Excited! Thinking about a 5 spd tranny swap in the future too.
  10. there is a status bar on here too? lol...it's like facebook or myspace all over again...lol

  11. Are these the 3" Springs you guys talking about?? http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=110499303600&fromMakeTrack=true&ssPageName=VIP:watchlink:top:en
  12. Been researching a lot on which BL to get. I'm planning on the SL, but since I aqcuired a Land Rover Discovery Series II ARB Bull Bar with winch mount for $50 bucks, after looking at how I will fab it, I'll need at least a 2" BL to fab it on. Otherwise it seems like my approach angle will be reduced as the Rover ARB is a bit bigger. Anyways, I have found 2" BL to be $30-50 more than a 3" BL. Why is that?
