Thanks, took about a week to build it. It's a shorty and gives me good approach angles. Update* Got the rear suspension transferred over as well as the rear bumper today. I've actually been talking with a busy if mine who owns a 4x4 customization shop about building some front and rear Dana 44s and 4 linking the front... But these are just plans for now and I am going to stick with the sfd for now. This new pathy is so clean, it reminds me if when I first got mine before the salt on the roads of nh got to it.

I just picked up a 2000 Pathfinder 4x4 LE with 175k with absolutely no rust, and since I can't get the motor to run in my old one as well as the body has major rust issues from driving up north in NH for 8 years I decided to purchase this new pathy and swap everything over to it (suspension, bumpers, rocker guards, interior because my old interior is in better shape, etc...) Basically I am going to take the stock copenents and put them back in my old pathy and vise versa. Please let me know if you have any parts request from my old pathy, there are still a bunch of great parts and I am contemplating just keeping ti for a parts rig. Either way let me know if anyone would be interested in some parts. My old pathy is a 1999.5 4x4 LE. my old pathy:

It's been awhile since I have been on here, and I am in the process of getting my pathy back on the road; but I might have the opportunity to purchase a 97 4x4 se pathy that does not have the rust issue my current pathy has since it is from up north. I was just wondering if my custom front bumper would be interchangable, because I know the lift kit components like the SFD and everything else would be. If I got this new pathy I would change everything over to it from my current one and swap most of the stock parts back to mine; minus the bumpers because they would obviously not match. I beleive everythign would be ok, but just wanted a second opinion. Also would there be any interest in anyone from here in any of the parts from my original pathy if I decided to part it out instead?

It has been awhile but I will throw my name in the mix... Muddfildvaynes

Is that panhard drop going to get in the way? It just looks like it could snag on something while crawling and rip off, otherwise very good design and I am kinda jealous... My pathy is still on jack stands in the garage because I am currently fixing my boat...

There was definitely some after we got the tire changed and back home, we were in the middle of the woods in the middle of nowhere in NH and we used what we had to get the job done.... I'm not saying it was the safest way to do it but it got done... These days I just throw a tree saver around a thick branch and use my smittybilt XRC-8 to lift the front end... much easier... -

It can be done using two D rings.... how do I know this..... I've done it.... Was it safe, probably not but I got the tire changed on the trail; and in the process I put a crease in my bumper cover and broke one of my offroad lights at the time. But it is a offroad vehicle and not a beuty queen and I had to get the tire changed in order to make it out of the trail... -
