Thanks, I will give it a shot this weekend... I am going chrome-less on my ride and am going to paint it flat black like the rest of my emblems....
-
This isn't mine, but mine looks the same... I can get better pics if it would be helpful.
-
Before I start messing around with it too much in an effort to take it off, I thought I would see if anyone knows how it is attached? I am hoping it is just stuck on with adhesive and will come off easily... any insight?
-
I guess I just need to get all the other stuff out of the way and give it some more oompf. I want to keep it in reasonable shape so, ideally, I can switch the two sensors to verify that it is definitely the sensor, before replacing it. Thanks for the link! You just saved me some hard-earned dollars!

Extending/relocating differential breather tube?
fusion replied to fusion's topic in 96-2004 R50 Pathfinders
Did you relocate yours or just extend it? Do you know what size tubing it is off-hand? -
I have a GPS, which is fine for monitoring speed but I would also like readings on mileage for an accurate odomoeter/tripometer as well as for calculating gas mileage. I also plan on doing a double-din radio w/ GPS so my one I use now will no longer be needed and I am not sure what features the new one will have and I don't want to look that far down to check my speed.
-
Does anyone know the part number so I can adjust up to 32" tires and where I could get it from?
-
After my lift, my differential breather tube keeps coming off... not good. I took a closer look and noticed that it doesn't go up very high. Has anyone extended/re-located theirs higher that can offer some info like tube size, length, places to secure it higher, etc.?
-
That is helpful to be sure but my wiring harness is in the way and I simply just can't get the frickin thing out! I am checking my swirl valves and putting new plugs in soon so hopefully I will be able to get better access to it then.
-
Loc-tited my wheel spacers... I can breath a little bit easier now.
-
I have ready my Haynes manual and the FSM but am still at a loss for how to get the damn sensor out, let alone verify that it needs to be replaced... help?
-
OK, mine is coming out, asap....

Maybe someone who has removed their rear swaybar can offer some insight for me? I know there has been discussion regarding how much it affects the handling/bodyroll and I am comfortable with that issues but what I am trying to balance that against is just how much more articulation taking it out creates?

So, while installing my strut spacers, I realized that I installed one of my strut assemblies before torquing the strut piston rod nut down. I obviously torqued it to spec right away but does it matter that I did after it was in the car, as opposed to outside of the car with the spring compressors still on? I hope not.... I really really don't want to uninstall it and have to put it back in.
