  1. Mine sounded like a mad weedeater above 3500rpm with a test pipe and a magnaflow. So I just bought a high flow cat.
  2. I have dual batteries with one walmart special 1000cca and a orbital red top. They will run my winch at an idle no problem and barely bog the truck. Stereo no problems either. I like the red top orbitals they are similar to the yellow optima i think.
  3. They don't get louder but it will eventually rust. They have a plate design inside not packing. I liked how mine sounded.
  4. Thanks. Thats enough info.
  5. Does anybody know the diameter and spline count on the shaft. Thanks
  6. Sweet, how about the heat off of the turbo in the engine bay behind the headlight.
  7. Good call on the daul cases. I have looked into a adapter to do a toyota case to my trans and it is promising. Damn that thing is huge.
  8. Is there any pics of your progress? Sounds sweet.
  9. Bad ass rig. T- case gears are in the future I presume.
  10. I would not straight pipe it. I did a test pipe on mine with a magnaflow and it was gross, like a beefy Honda. 40 series Flow sounded a lot better but still ricey.
  11. We planned a rear mount and were going to use a 2 or 3 quart tank with a small electric oil pump to circulate the oil. The only thing I was concerned about is the air filter location. Also the thing with a turbo in the engine bay is heat and room. Then the California smog nazis would hate that set up. How much boost and price estimation are we looking at cause my rig is a snail and I need power.
  12. What about a rear mount set up. Or a set up for a TBI system.
  13. Just do it yourself. It is not that hard and if it breaks, and it will, just fix it.
  14. Your Divorced t-case is sick but why a 720 case? Why not a Toyota with a 4.7 gear or something. Your fab looks great.
  15. A rear mount turbo is the way to do it on a Pathfinder in my opinion. Simple and effective. Plus you don't need the low down torque to crawl you need low gears. I would like to be able to run faster to my destination not on the trails.
  16. I have installed a CL from hoohaa and from my experience they are very good quality. Thanks for the good products.
  17. I did a magnaflow at first with 2.25in pipe then I didn't really like the sound so after a year or so I went to a 40 series Folwmaster and like it better with still 2.25in pipe dumped after the muffler. I have 33s and get 15mpg in town.
  18. 160 per wheel is not that cheap. I got mine for 95 a wheel and they are the pro comp aluminum polished ones in a 15 though. And also 1800 sounds steep. I'm lookin at Toyo MTs in a 33 for 176 a tire mounted and balanced. Look around a little more and get some better quotes.
  19. Wow 2.5 or 3in. I donno that is a little much in my opinion. 2.5in single will be more than enough and a muffler of your choice. Flowmaster, Dynomax, Magnaflow or any other brand will do fine.
  20. It has been done before and it was not cheap. I think it was like 2 grand for all of the stuff to do it and he did all of the labor. Black92se is his screen name and he hangs out at 4x4parts. Check it out. It was sweet but like a month later he was already SAS'n his rig.
  21. Oh and to add on to the crawl ratio. You must know the first gear ratio and the t-case and the ring and pinion. If you have an auto the the torque converter must be factored in also. With an auto 100 to 1 is a good crawl and a manual I personally would want around 200 to 1.
  22. Look at Marlin Crawler at his bumpers they are bad ass. Oh and a couple of guys do have them on here.
  23. I would say a solid 3ins of lift and some way to hold the coil in at full flex.
