  1. Just filled up tooday- and lowest mileage I have had. 253 miles on 16.6 gallons for 15.24 MPG. At least 100 miles were for a trip to work Highway, and most of rest was 35-45 mph. This is Northeast with that wonderful winter mix Gas!!! Chris
  2. Hi- I wanted one of the Burgandy R50's, but when I bouht mine- all could find was Black, Silver, and Green- all SE'e with the Charcoal trim. I grabbed the Green SE Limited and have loved it since. I always see Black and Silver everywhere, and I never liked Silver anyway- ever since my father had a mid 70's GM Regal in Silver(it flaked off). Turned me right off, and yes I know paint is better now. As much as I like my Green, I also liked the Bayshore Blue in 2001 and 2002, but the 2003 Blue is too bright. I also like the Pewter and the Copper from 2003 as well. Chris
  3. Hey Nasty- Nice truck- I always liked that color combo...was one for sale here(it was a 2000) last year that I gave a look at, but if was gonna get a newer one- it'd have the 3.5. BTW- I am from Mass also- where do you live? Chris
  4. When you hit bumps or ripples in the road does the shaking get worse? I went through the rebalance sydrome only to find it didn't work. However - the stealer mentioned that the struts were leaking and my aftermarket sway bar links were shot. He would be happy to do it for about $700. $125 each for struts, $40 each for links, and yes I needed rear shocks for $55 each(I really did- not included in the $650). Went to my local stealer instead- and bought the struts for $75 or $80, links for $30 each, and shocks for $40 each. Installed shocks in 20 minutes, and brought the balance to a local who did it for $40 a side. I would have done the struts myself, but it was still too cold up here to bother. No more shaking through the wheel or vibration from front end! Chris
  5. Yikes!!! Thats a lot of coin. I don't have anything to compare it to- as I've never had em done yet- I have 73K on mine in Mass. Based on what I've been reading here and on 4x4parts- I will definitely pay to have this done. Chris
  6. Hey- its something can actually answer!!! I went through this last winter on mine- and what did it for me was sway bar end links. Look behind each wheel, and find the end of way bar. Atached to this will be a little bar 6 to 8 inches with rubber boots. One end attaches to sway bar, and other goes to strut I think. I think they were $35 for both. To check to see if this might be it- put you hand around each of the rubber bushings and have someone push up and down on front end. In my case- I couldn't see any play, but with my hand around the joint I could feel a pop with each compression and rebound. Good to go after that. Easier done removing wheel. Good Luck Chris
