  1. If I had to guess I can't see getting more than $3k on a trade in, which would kinda suck. Like I said, pair that up with my $3500 it's not a bad down payment. But also, I don't have a car payment now...and that is kinda priceless. The more I think about it, the more I think it's time to sink $2000 into this thing and make it like new again...well like new but 2 inches higher lol. If I do the AC lift I'm going to go with the Rancho's all the way around because to me it's a trusted offroad Shock/strut name. Now I've read that the Rancho RS9000XL Rear Shock is the way to go since it has longer travel. Any reason that AC sells this as part of their package, but it cannot be found ANYWHERE as a shock that fits the pathfinder???? Kinda strange.

    Hello all

I have a 97 Pathfinder XE 4x4 (as some of you may or may not know) It's done me pretty well in the last 3 years, and I love the truck. It has 125,000 miles on it, and is in really good shape for the beating I've dealt it. I just recently put QX4 bumpers on the front and rear because my original bumpers were pretty shot, it looks great (just need to find some Qx4 fender flares to finish it off really well. As it stands now, the truck is stock with 31" BFG A/T's. I just put $800 into doing the hoses, radiator, thermostat, and a full system flush. Compression check came back solid. I know these engines can go up and beyond 200,000 miles if maintained. I did find some rust right in the lower corner of the rear passenger door jam, which if it goes untreated could cause serious structural decay. I'm not sure how bad it is, but I plan on repairing it as best I can. Other than that the truck is in great shape and just needs some maintenance and repairs for general wear and tear. Here is the dilemma. I'm going to have $3500 extra cash next month. I don't really want to spend it all unless it were as a down payment on something. Do I trade in the pathy while it still has SOME trade in value, and can throw my $3500 on top to make a pretty nice down payment...OR do I dump some money into the pathy. I would do the following: The AC 2" lift New wheels to offset my tires a bit more New Exhaust Tune up Brakes Rust repair Re undercoating the chassis And some other general maintenance Is it worth it at this point?
  3. The .RARs are fine, I use em all the time. Just scooped the one I needed. Thank you for helping out so fast guys!
  4. Holy lifesaver. That is awesome. Thank you much!
  5. Alright, the links in this thread seem to be dead. Does anyone happen to have a PDF copy, or any other way they can shoot me over a Service Manual. I'm dismantling my truck this weekend, and would LOVE to have the Service Manual before I start.
  6. Of course. Looking forward to a much better 2008. Kicking it off in Miami to play in my teams second national championship in a row for football. After I get back I'll hopefully have some time and money to begin transforming my pathy.
  7. I've been MIA for quite sometime here. It's been a really rough year for me actually. Unfortunately haven't had any Pathy time either, besides fixing O2 sensors and typical mundane maintenance to be expected when owning a Nissan. I have some Qx4 bumpers sitting in storage that I ant to put on here before winter really hits Chicago, and that's about it until Spring. Hopefully after 07 is over I'll be looking to have a better year and actually be able to really get back to enjoying my Pathfinder again. This thing has just been a pavement pounder this year, no fun.
  8. Hey MZ, looks like you'll be hanging with a pair of cripples when you come up here in a week or so. George we need to start a "club" The one legged wheelers club lol.

Hey guys, sorry I haven't gotten back on this yet. It's been a rough month, and I just had surgery this week. I'll see if I can get to work on these in a week or two. Again sorry.
  10. Sorry if I am offending any of our baseball fan's, it's all in good fun...but I really do think baseball is lame lol. Ok but honestly, besides getting nailed with a 90mph ball how do you get hurt in baseball...I mean really come on..."Oh jeeeeebus I pulled a hammy runnin to first base oh gawd." LOL
  11. Because Golf is cool and baseball is not.
  12. Do the Q's have different brakes than the Pathy's? My Pathy (97) came stock on 15x7's and it clears the brakes. I don't see why the Q would be any different.
  13. Is baseball over yet? I'm really sick of it clogging up my sportscasts. I mean really do we need half as much coverage of a sport that doesn't even draw a sweat. I swear they way overcover baseball and try to make it seam exciting. I think instead of balls we should just let the players hit eachother with bats. Maybe then baseball would be worth a crap.
  14. I totally get what you're saying, and I pretty much agree. It's just kind of ****** when you look at this car coming in being priced above G and M series Infiniti's, heck even above their Q series cars/trucks. I understand that they are aiming for a different market, but they've always kicked that market's ass without being priced into that market.
