  1. Tall skinny refer to the gas pedel im gessing. What are the advantages of a locker over the LSD?
  2. Is it okay if you have a locker in the rear end and if you daily drive it? I have been thinking about putting one in and just want to make sure that it would be okay to daily drive it with it in. Thanks Bob
  3. I have a ABS light that comes on when ever I start my pathy. I have tryed getting it to work and it never has. I have a 94XE tho with drums. I have never had ABS so i dont miss it at all. Even says ABS on my insurence bill
  4. To make a long story short. I was fixing a friends neon (water pump, timing belt, and head), and she was driving my pathy because she needed a car to get to and from work. She calls me up after having it ONE day and says "is one corner on the pathy sit really low?" I was like one side does sit lower then the other. Anyway she was like okay. She didnt make it seem like it was all that bad. I decide to go take a look at it anyways. I get there to take a look at it and the front driver side is just slammed. There is abot 1/2 a inch between the tire and the wheel well. I start looking at it jack it up in the air. Im under there looking and see that the bolt that comes off the back of the lower contole arm is snapped. So @!*% something else that I have to fix. I get the part at the dealer (complete kit for like $120). Put that in, and im dropping it back onto the ground. It goes right back to the spot when i looked at it the day before. So crap i jack it back up and start looking for other reasons its sitting on the ground. I look at the torson bars, and there is the problem. Some how the torson bar unloaded. So i get the toron bar out and start looking at the socket that it slids into, all the splins are f'ed up in there. Of course everything is closed so the pathy has to sit another night. So I get the part ($53) put it together in 45 min. I Have the driver side torson cranked up all the way and it still sinks alittle. But its on the road and driving good so that is all that matters. I will be changing the other lower contole arm bolt . Sorry that was no that short.
  5. Here is a link for the Rancho SS. They claim it to be a RS5000series. If youdont think that it is the SS what would you think it might be?
  6. Every once and a while when Im driving i bet a bad shake in the steering wheel. I tap the brakes and it for the most part goes away. Does that sound like a stablizer? If it is, I was thinking about getting the Rancho RS5000 series. Anything good or bad about the rancho RS5000's? Does anyone know if you need to modify anything to make it fit? Thanks Bob
  7. I just need mine to hold up for maybe 2 years at the most. I plan on buying a CA pathfinder. Hopefuly one with no rust. I was under there the other day and seems the paint that i sprayed on didnt stay one so now i have bare metal again. Today we got our first good snow and here comes the rust. I will just have to get under there again and spray it down again after sanding it down. Did you do anything to your metal?
  8. I would say they would be beat up pretty good, but they would live. I should show this to my father, he dose accident reconstruction for the state patrol. Im interested to see what he has to say about that.
  9. Im glad mine was not that bad. Looks pretty good for a 3 hour job. Took me a good 5 to 6 hours to do mine.
  10. I have a XE that is almost a SE. The only thing that I dont have is the sprot susp. and the roof rack. Other wise I have PM, PW, PL, LSD, rear tire carrier (not on right now), keyless, and I think that about rounds it up.

    R50?

Do the R50 pathfinders have any rusting issues like the WD21's? In the nest year or year and a half I'm going to be looking for a new pathfinder. I would like a low miles no rust WD21 (going to be hard to find in sure), or I will be getting a 96+. So again I was just wondering if they have the same issues. Are there any other things that should be pointed out on the R50's? Thanks all Bob
