  1. oh yea forgot about that portion of it. lol says the big gaping hole in my frame
  2. true to a point sammy. i had to notch a portion of where the body mount is. the problem being the position where calmini tells you to drill and where they should actually be is totally different. also i dont think calminis truck actually uses any of their products that are now produced. also the calmini sas kit si super old and will never be a full kit but just pieces, im pretty sure they stopped R&D on the kit. if you do spring under with a calmini kit with rancho rs44044 the shackle should probably be right infront of the boyd mount. Calmini is also retarded and sells the wrong bolts (they are way to short) and dont fit all the way through, so i had to go buy new liek .5 inch longer bolts, and when i called them to ask them about it they were like to bad those are the ones we sell and if you dont like it go buy other ones. the bolts where so short that the nut maybe had one thread once you tightened down.
  3. its a good place to stat. but i gaurentee youll get a bug to wanna fix it and change it adn do something else. it never ends
  4. oh wow not only is the title funny. so what were telling you is its a little of everything os just switch out everything in the motor, tranmission, fuel delivery, and drivetrain and that should solve your problems... jk no worries. id start with the cheapest stuff first, or try a tune up for the engine and what not
  5. i know the earls ones arent dot aprroved. and they work fine nad it probably wont ever come to where you need and a shop could build ones i guess dont know why youd want that cost. cause your allready sasing it which defiantly isnt dot approved. apparently one guy has told 87pathy that his truck needs to be returned to stock form to meet DOT requirements. i laughed
  6. ive used the front spring hanger and the rear shackle reversal kit. i dont like theyre corssmembers and i didnt do a spring over i did a spring under. okay so your taking hte hard research parts outta the question. next tiem search around cause the questions there are the basic easy parts to find. lol but ill answer it for ya. 4.56 gears are not low enough for 35s considering the stock pathys had 4.6s on 31s. i have 5.13 with 36s and its just about right. -i used earls stainless steel brake lines. (went stainless all the way around. i built my own using there adpaters (they are not DOT approved) -i built my own front driveshaft and used a nissannut adapter. used the stock rear one. - what rear axle are you going to use. makes deciding on gears easier. if your leaving stock nissan like i did 5.13s and i used yukon gears front and got the gears and a master install kit from ebay -had nissannut taper out a pitman arm for me. - f-250 shock towers. easy simple and welded them on. -rancho rs44044 i suggest you search around some more. check out nissannuts website. nissannut.com i think, a ton of useful information there on all sorts of builds
  7. btw t case gears arent going to effect anything aside from 4low. and if your going to go with a set get the calmini set alot easier to install over the AC gears
  8. biteme i was selling it along time ago and looking into getting a new camaro but then decided it wasnt worth it casue i actually own this car and would own the maro. so now im turning this into dedicated trail rig/vehicle and am saving up money for a DD or a tow rig

    Cigars

it all depends on what you like, do you like spicy, robust. do you wanna smoke them for awhile or a short amount of time. that can help decide casue then you can look at the length. but personally i like romeo and julietas, montecristos, sometimes magazines will have a 4 pack deal for free with you pay the shipping so it comes out to like 6 or 7 bucks. also going into the store your gonna pay way more then ordering online. check out the OPUS X for kicks and giggles (this one would break the bank but its so good.)
  10. so with my SAS i got rid of all the ABS sensors and what not is it possible to get rid of the damn light in the dash now. if i remove the ABS brain will it go away and i "no longer" have abs according to the ECU cause as is i dont have abs but it thinks that i do
  11. i would not use crimp connectors on this at all. i would be soldering ever single one of those wires back to the other wire to be sure i had a decent connection.. i hate laughing at other mishaps but dang dude you kinda walked into this one.
  12. Was wondering if some of you guys were intrested maybe getting together for some food or a npora dinner type deal. maybe start a regular like last thursday of every month meet in washington or something
  13. take it to an exhaust shop and have them but a ball/socket joint on the header and the y pipe. they dont leak and will flex a little and stay sealed under loads. much better design imho.
  14. I meet with mister 510 today about expanding into the nissan offroad world and what products you would like to see. my major thoughts were sliders at a lower cost then 400 like every other company seem to ask. what type of sliders and what cost range ( no bs like 100 dollars or free, keep it real) what design do you like. do you like the shrock works ones with the round tube angled up or the calmini just square tube or are there others im missing. i personally like the shrock works ones were they come out and have the angled tube up with some inserts also he currently makes headers for the vg30 engines that are meant for the 510 swaps he does. were gonna check fitment on the pathfinders but should fit no problem. i saw one today and real high quality made by a place called stans headers in washington state. right now there isnt a y pipe being made and it uses the ball and socket flange so there is no leak issues with these like the thorleys y pipe. also these are a shroty style header, think kinda like the thorleys. My major question is what style of sliders do you guys like and what other products for the nissan offroad/pathfinder community do you guys want or would like to see
  15. do you know if he will make more after this run, or is this like a 1 time deal where if i dont get it now its gone forever
  16. yea sorry for side tracking. i agree with red on this.
  17. yea i meant that it is required. my words were just a little jumbled i think. but i meant they are required. was trying to say i didnt have one. they didnt notice and i almost passed. im jsut losing my self. tiem for a beverage or sleep
  18. so not true that a cat is required to pass emissions. they are required for sure. my truck only failed its last emissions test bysomething like .02 on one test and i dont have a cat and wasnt asked any questions. once i failed i then decided to go register the vehicle out in ellensburg cause they have no emissions so i didnt have to worry about fixing it. i also had a ellensburg address and could do that casue the truck was beign primarily used in ellensburg
  19. why oh why do i see this stuff..... need more money....
  20. so the headers you have work with the vg30e correct. and will they fit in a pathfinder. they look like modified dough throleys, correct me if im wrong. but i may be intrested in a set here very quickly
  21. i say we start the list taht tnz posted up with the new year
